Beautiful, clean, spacious vacation apartment with a few minor annoyances

The house has two vacation apartments. We stayed in the lower apartment. The stairs to the upper one are a bit steeper.

The landlady, Mrs. Hog, is very friendly. She gives a tour of the apartment upon check-in and provides information about your stay.

The vacation apartment is very clean and tidy. It's very cozy, thanks to the small details. There's a scent of cleaning products in every room. My husband found this unpleasant, but it bothered my son and me less.

The beds were comfortable. The duvets were summer duvets; if you prefer warmer sleep, you should bring an extra blanket. There are two wool blankets, but these are more for balmy summer evenings.

The kitchen has sufficient supplies.

There's a folder in the apartment containing tips, information about the apartment, the Wi-Fi password, and excursion options.
Rules of conduct and information are also posted or displayed in almost every room. This starts at the front door.

Each guest is provided with one hand towel and one bath towel. If you forget a bath towel for a visit to the swimming pool or Rulantica, you can borrow one. Contrary to the description on Booking.com, there are no toiletries in the bathroom. There is only hand soap by the pool.

The terrace/balcony is large, and small details make it cozy.

Two carport parking spaces are available for each apartment.

Since this is an older building, it isn't exactly quiet. The guests from the apartment upstairs can't be ignored. You can even hear their walking.

Those booking here should be aware that they are paying for at least three nights, even if a booking is only possible for two nights and the apartment is rented out immediately. In this case, the apartment earns twice as much money. The landlord and Booking.com should explicitly point this out.
