Blauer Bock in Schwabisch Hall

This restaurant is the best place we have ever eaten at! Starting from the location itself, the inner garden, the environment, serving, plating and most of all the food...everything was above our expectations. I eat steak on a regular basis but somehow I was always reluctant to eat steak at a restaurant, but this time I wanted to deal with my fears of eating a bad steak....and this was the best place to do it!
I ordered a red sweet wine (Lambrusco) which was amazing! Then a well done steak with salad and my husband with baked potatoe. First: the salad. Salads cand be very boring but this one was heavenly; so soft, fresh, colourful, yet sweet and tangy in the same time, not dry but wet enough to make it disolve in your mouth! The salad dressing (house dressing) was incredible. Then the potatoe: incredibly soft and tasty and the accompanying sauce made it even more glorious.
Now, The Steak (beef)! I cannot even express how impressed we both were with it, my husband not a steak lover! It was so juicy, with a very soft smokey flavour that just made us very happy! All these combined were magnificent!
We also spent a night there. It wasn't the best place to have a good rest, but the meal that we had before just made up for everything!
