Hotel-Restaurant Maien in Todtmoos

We have been coming to Maien for almost 20 years. Now for the first time outside a school holiday. Maybe that was the reason because it was very quiet in the region. There was no reception upon arrival. The rest of the week hardly any. Not a single day the bed was made. Not a single hadfoek replaced. No staff in the room the whole week. No breakfast so arranged somewhere else. Almost everything went wrong. What is going on here?

Check-in wasn't possible because the reception desk was closed. We were then assigned a room somehow through someone who happened to be sitting around there and knew the manager, but we had to look for the key in another building. The restaurant opened on time and was clean and good. Not so our room. The manager then came out of the restaurant and said that we definitely shouldn't have been given that room and then showed us a lot of bed bugs that only started working in the afternoon. We were given another room. The floor here was covered in long dark hair and the mattresses were extremely dirty and possibly moldy. We had agreed to have breakfast the next morning at 8:00 a.m., but then neither the reception desk nor the breakfast room nor the restaurant were staffed. We could just leave the key and leave. The only positive things were the restaurant and the parking.
