Anna in Badenweiler

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Anna for a week.

One of the things that made it special was knowing that the hotel has been in the same family for a number of generations - you can really feel the care and attention to detail.

The delicious traditional food and attentive service were really appreciated - we particularly loved the breakfasts.

The hotel is peaceful and quiet and we had panoramic views of the area from our balcony. We also regularly used the indoor pool and sauna.

The location was perfect for us, providing a great base to explore the surrounding area.

Highly recommend Hotel Anna to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay with genuine hospitality.

Sparkling clean hotel, lovely and attentive staff, excellent food. The views from the balconies are lovely, as well. We came to recover from jet lag, though many people come to hike the area and swim in the bath waters. The food was a highlight. Each day the menu changes. We went in summer and the German food was the lightest I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Already on our arrival we could feel that Hotel Anna is a family-owned hotel with a personal atmosphere. The chief herself welcomed us, showed us our room and asked us kindly to show up in the restaurant not later than 8 pm. All guests have a reserved table that is yours during your stay. The restaurant is closed for non-residents. We had not thought about half board during our one week stay, but the daily offers were so good that we chose to have all our dinners in the restaurant. No regrets. At the breakfast you´ll find the dinner menu-offers for the day and proposals for things to do in or around Badenweiler (see photo example). The modest wine list offers red wines from the neighbourhood. White wines are also available. Our room had everything that you expect of a four-star hotel and the balcony overlooking The Black Forest added value to our stay. Quiet location and sleep quality is perfect. Daily cleaning by staff that you´ll meet every day. One evening we were offered to, and accepted with a handful of other guests, to take a walk with the chief of the hotel to a viewpoint overlooking the Rhine valley and the sunset over the Vosges.

We felt so welcome and comfortable at Hotel Anna in Badenweiler. Spacious room, well outfitted with a lot of thoughtful touches, which communicate generous hospitality and care for the guests.
The hotel is in easy walking distance to the sights and restaurants in the town centre. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. And we loved the pool, and the beautiful view from it!

As I arrived they knew my name, friendly staff, clean hotel, nice Swimmingpool with large outside terras where you can lay down, enough towels, good food. In te afternoon the serve soup with bread for free. Nice room with a balcony with a view. Good parking space. Wonderful surroundings for walking or visit different places in Schwarzwald.

I recently had the oportunity to sleep in Hotel Anna, it has been one of the best hotels I’ve ever been! The staff is great, really nice and kind, the rooms are neat, and the food they have in the restaurant is amazing!! It also has a heated indoor swimming pool!! I will definetely come back!!!
