Where to stay in Tubingen

I've stayed at this hotel twice and both experiences were excellent. The room with Neckar view is lovely. All the staff at this hotel are courteous and helpful. I hope to visit here again sometime.

The hotel is pretty and everyone very nice and caring! They have amazing wine in bar! But the WiFi is openly bad impossible to work! (one almost hears the sound of the 14kbps modem in the background!), and the pillows and duvets could use an uplift. The duvets are synthetic and do not regulate well the temperature, and the pillows are dramatically synthetic, cheap and airy and this makes them less...

We spent two nights at this lovely hotel. A family run hotel with wonderful welcoming staff. Very comfortable beds and a large bathroom made for a great visit for us, as three tired guests who had been travelling around Europe for the last six weeks! What a great, clean and dog friendly hotel! Tasteful design throughout the whole hotel. Our dog was welcomed with a hug at the reception and a drinking bowl in the room. We had a room with Neckar-view this is why it was quiet. I can imagine if you have a room at the street side it’ll be more noisy. We had a wonderful stay and could walk to everything we wanted to visit.

This hotel was probably one of my favorite stays in Germany. The staff were expertly friendly and professional. Perfect english and willing to help us. Room overlooked the river and it was gorgeous day and night. A fold out bed was provided at low cost as we have a child under 5 staying in the room with us. There is a minibar/fridge in the room. It did not have air conditioning but it was not needed...

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with all the essentials. The parking was very safe and convenient as well. Plus the location could not have been better! I would highly recommend the Hotel Krone.

Beautifully located just steps from the Neckar River and two very short blocks from the start of the Altstadt or Old Town area of Tubingen. A bit pricey compared to other hotels where we have been staying.

10/10 Recommend! The hotel and staff were great! My sister and I stayed one night and were treated to an upgraded room. The AC was refreshing during a heat wave and parking was very easy. We also enjoyed drinks at the restaurant next door. Complimentary breakfast was high class and delicious. We would absolutely stay again!

Rooms are clean, amenities at the minimum, some offered for extra costs. Personnel professional, though fairly cold.

Very helpful staff. I don’t speak German, but all was perfect. Room was clean and quiet. Bar served surprisingly good food.

The hotel's location is excellent, however, the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The selection is limited and the food doesn't appear freshly prepared. A greater variety and better quality at breakfast would be desirable for a more pleasant stay.

It's pretty good; they have a 24-hour self-service coffee machine.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, fantastic, clean rooms. We had our room in the annex. Despite being on a road, it was very quiet!

Accommodation, food and service are great!

The hotel location is very close to the city center.  The room is quite cozy, and the food tastes great.

Hotel servive was so nice and its facilities were so good. Breakfast was very excellent.

Except one thing everything was good. It would be better if the toilets had bidet taps like in Turkish toilets and if the sinks were wider and more concave.

Rooms are clean. Very friendly personal. Restaurant has really good quality but high prices as well. There is free parking for the guests. Dogs are allowed.

We love this place. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is sophisticated without being stuffy in the slightest and the staff are kind.

Ten minutes drive from Tubingen the Landhotel Hirsch is well worth the stay rather than options available in the town. You can enjoy Tubingen in just a few minutes by car or fifteen minutes cycling and yet stay in an environment that is protected and preserved in it’s natural form. The staff are great and one can see this is a very well run hotel with a great restaurant offering a quality next to none...

Very nice little hotel in a beautiful historic town with a monestary that is a must see. The service at Landhotel Hirsch is very good and the staff is very polite and the kitchen makes delicious food. Can only recommend this place!

Absolutely wonderful food. Delicious venison. Good wine selection, very attentive staff. Atmosphere a bit bland. Perhaps a little on the expensive side, but nothing comparable in Tübingen.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area. It looks small at the first impression, but after staying for two nights, we actually found everything we need. And there was even enough space for my Yogamatt . Private parking can be found in front of the hotel entrance and also back doors. We stayed on weekdays (but during school vacations of Easter) and have no problems to find parking lot after 8pm when...

The hotel is very close to city centre and the neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. All rooms are situated in the higher floors of the building and so they offer an excellent view of the surrounding. The access is not easy for people with no car. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and the fridge was very loud all night long. Other than that, the rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean. The bedding is not adapted for people with a weak back.

We were worried about your reservation after having read some negative reviews, but I'm here to say that our stay here was lovely and much better than expected. Yes, it looks bizarrely uninviting from the outside (you'd never realize it was a hotel tucked into a building otherwise filled with doctor's offices) and yes it is true that they don't serve breakfast (which is weird, given the name) - but...

One of the most functional hotels I have ever been! Everything ok! The entrance is at Walter Simon street. Decent breakfast, only for 5 euros!

This is a wonderful place to stay, great hosts, enjoyed every single moment spent here. If you have a chance to visit the place don’t miss out an opportunity to have a beer at the bar down stairs. It feels like being at home here.

I stayed here for 5 days. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The owner is very approachable, helpful, and speaks English. Located close to Tübingen centre. Room cleaning is done every day. Breakfast spread was delectable with a lot of variety to choose from. Only con - the shower is a bit small. Great hotel to stay!

Difficult parking, but for a free. Rooms are VERY small. Served food is tasty and good looking. Wi-fi works somehow.

Cozy and very clean rooms, super friendly staff, and a great location close to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay! Only the breakfast was a bit limited- would 've loved a bit more variety. Also for vegan and vegetarian people.. still, definitely recommend!

Boutique size hotel with comfortable rooms, and good quality breakfast. Friendly staff! The rooms are quiet and well equipped, though the showers are very small. The hotel is located in a more residential area so would need to walk 20-40 min to restaurants and shops downtime. 

Friendly dtaff, parking onsite (not free), somewhat walkable to the old part of the city otherwise taxi is sufficient. Hotel was clean and safe, but no air conditioning. Room was nice, spaceous enough, clean, and quiet.

Friendly helpful staff. Really lovely facilities, furniture, and decor. Convenient to walk to the old town, and cafes. The pool is small but pretty. On site parking is convenient and easy to access.

The room was a complete apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen and tableware, and the heating was excellent; it was very nice.

Noise and just ok service Service was only ok … I asked for an earlier date for email giving instructions for checking as I was coming in on the weekend and was met with incredulity … if the customer needs more time you give them more time ! …. My room on the first (one above ground) was really noisy until the wee hours of the night

The check-in process was a bit complicated, but the location and facilities were excellent. I'd love to visit this place again. It was even more satisfying than staying at a hotel.

The staff were very helpful. The accommodation was so close to the main station and the old town. It was very safe and comfortable.
