A wonderful, clean and pleasant hotel.

The hotel is clean and in a good location for walking around town. We did have a problem checking in, Noone was there and we had to call several times to finally get in. We were not asked if we wanted breakfast and if you do not book th enight before you cannot do so in the morning. That was disappointing since the breakfast looked good and was reasonablly priced. No elevator, but rooms comfortable...

Very comfortable bed, we had a super night’s sleep. A well positioned hotel, central to the old town and a short walk to the riverside.

No complaints whatsoever, BUT, you need to keep the window in you room closed, road B8 is quite noisy. But with the window closed you can't hear any traffic noise.

Hotel was very clean and price was very good. It was quiet place not far from downtown Wurzburg. We ate in restaurant and the meal was absolutely delicious with great staff! Very accommodating!

Very friendly hosts, cozy rooms and a wonderful garden restaurant! The "Töpfle" and the Weinerschnitzel were excellent!

Esbachhof serves Franconian cuisine and seasonal cuisine. They are also well-known because of their duck. My favorite dish there is the sirloin steak with pepper sauce, cooked rare. The wines are mainly regional but some of them come from other parts of Southern Europe. Food is very good! Typical German food for an average price! Delicious!

So glad our original plan did not work out and this hotel was booked. The service is outstanding from the moment you walk in the door. The owners are thoughtful and want your visit to be amazing. I saw an award for best breakfast on the wall from a previous year, and I believe it still stands. The variety was wonderful. Meats, fruit, cereals, veggies, cakes, yogurt, coffees, teas.... many options...

Status as on 29/11/2023. I stayed in this hotel for a week. It’s a basic hotel with all necessary amenities. Very clean and spotless. Easy location. Rooms are small and sufficient. Tasty breakfast. I like the old underground basement winery converted to dining area. Owner Chris is a nice man and always accessible for any assistance.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, and the hostess is very talkative and friendly. The restaurant transformed from the air raid shelter is very unique. The room is very clean, the floor is high, and the view outside the window is beautiful. The floor is a bit old so there is some noise when walking. Because the hotel is located between two roads, there is a bit of car noise at night.

Super friendly service in this hotel run by mother and son. Rooms nice, most of the interior newly renovated. Well assorted breakfast. Location at main road not so charming but it’s easy to walk downtown- 5 min.

Hotel rooms pretty basic - but also at a very basic rate. Fresh breakfast dished up every morning and the place is spotless. But what makes the place by far, is the people that run it. Totally recommend.
