Hotel Kitzinger Hof in Kitzingen

So glad our original plan did not work out and this hotel was booked.

The service is outstanding from the moment you walk in the door. The owners are thoughtful and want your visit to be amazing.

I saw an award for best breakfast on the wall from a previous year, and I believe it still stands. The variety was wonderful. Meats, fruit, cereals, veggies, cakes, yogurt, coffees, teas.... many options.

There were a few options that were super fresh, like what kind of fruit juice was preferred with the meal, bread type, and how you like your eggs cooked. The tables were set up with decorations and a sweet treat.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Three people fit comfortably with plenty of space to spread out. The shower had good hot water and strong water pressure for a good cleaning.

The location let us walk almost everywhere we wanted to go in Kitzingen. Even going to Würzburg, from the hotel the bahnhof (train station) was a quick and easy walk.

I stayed in this hotel for a week.
It’s a basic hotel with all necessary amenities.
Very clean and spotless.
Easy location.
Rooms are small and sufficient.
Tasty breakfast.
I like the old underground basement winery converted to dining area.
Owner Chris is a nice man and always accessible for any assistance.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, and the hostess is very talkative and friendly. The restaurant transformed from the air raid shelter is very unique. The room is very clean, the floor is high, and the view outside the window is beautiful. The floor is a bit old so there is some noise when walking. Because the hotel is located between two roads, there is a bit of car noise at night.

Super friendly service in this hotel run by mother and son. Rooms nice, most of the interior newly renovated. Well assorted

Location at main road not so charming but it’s easy to walk downtown- 5 min.

Hotel rooms pretty basic - but also at a very basic rate. Fresh breakfast dished up every morning and the place is spotless. But what makes the place by far, is the people that run it. Totally recommend.
