The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We visited the hotel with two children. It happened and we checked in and checked out together with two other families. I noticed a different attitude to us who were not German to the other families who were German. Even to children. The other children were given a free book and sweets while ours were not. A room with a view This property is in a very picturesque location right on the water. Many people have weddings here and I can see why. The rooms were spacious and modern with a large bathroom/shower. The breakfast was great with a large selection of lunch meats, cheeses, eggs, breads coffees and teas.

Great hotel with lovely staff, reasonably priced and well-equipped. Wifi is quite strong and free. Breakfast is one of the biggest advantages, because you find there everything you think of, including your-own made fresh eggs etc. Highly recommended!

The "garden rooms" (#17 & #18) are a bit disadvantaged - behind the house, small window in the main room, no window in the bathroom - but very clean and the beds are great. What really makes this place is the breakfast, though: great variety presented beautifully and with charm. Tasty, too. If you're a foodie, this will warm your heart. Nice place, recommended.

Extremely enjoyable stay! Wasn't going to be our original destination, nor our first choice, but boy I'm glad we ended up here! The lady's running the day to day are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast is to die for! All in all a wonderful place to stay in Bavaria that feels like a wonderful hotel but also cozy in a way you can't get in a hotel. Would certainly recommend!

Beautifull family hotel with a good atmosphere because of the great family service. A very nice breakfast. And there's a shop downstairs where you can buy nice decoration stuff (e.g. in such case you fell in love with something used as a breakfast service :-))

We give this B&B type hotel 5 stars because of the wonderful family that owns and services it. There were some amenities that we're missing compared to a hotel situation, but if we needed anything all we had to do was ask and the family Staudinger was more than accommodating! We have plans to go back to enjoy the breakfast when family comes to visit and would consider staying there again.

The room was really nice - but the room Was very cold and no one could help us turn on the heat. They finally brought us an extra blanket and we hung the provided bathrobes on the towel heater to warm up. However - the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had.

We got the last room on 16 July & it was a suite with a great balcony! The dinner at the restaurant was superb as was breakfast! Super friendly and would love to go back to explore more & enjoy the Spa. Amazing!

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

The Garden Hotel Reinhart has more than earned its classification. Discovered it while passing through. Excellent lakeside location. Highly trained staff, well-maintained property, beautiful rooms, and a solid wellness area. You feel completely comfortable. The chef is skilled at his craft. Not to mention, an exceptional breakfast. Definitely worth it.

Located right next to Lake Chiemsee, it offers stunning sunrise and sunset views. Swans glide gracefully, creating a picturesque scene. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and a water park is nearby. A truly unforgettable experience.

Advantages: It's one of the few hotels that provides complimentary bottled water in the rooms and also gives you tea bags. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room has a small balcony right next to Lake Chiemsee. There are several restaurants in and around the hotel. The hotel breakfast setup is really thoughtful.

I can only give a review about the restaurant and it was great!! I really recommend it. We ordered the spaghetti with salmon, the salad with pieces of fish and the baked fish with salad. As dessert we apple pieces with cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. Very tasty and large portions. They have a huge variety of breakfast which they serve until 6 pm and lots of drinks. We are definitly coming back to taste...

Friendly and helpful staff. The first impression is good, the hotel looks good. The check in was great, without any problems. The room was spacious and clean. The bed comfortable. Breakfast - a great choice, good coffee. We had an evening meal and it was good, large portion and tasty. The only negative point is that the parking space is not paved.

The hotel located in a really wonderful location near the port of Prien and convenient for going for a 'Schiffahrt'. The area is liveable and full of restaurants and bars. But the in the room was quiet for sleeping. The staffs are super friendly and nice. The hotel is dog friendly and although normally stay many dogs there, the rooms are super clean. We stayed here for two amazing weeks. The owner Kevin speaks great English and is able to help out whatever is needed, and is the loveliest guy. The area is lively and just so beautiful. Pizza-yummy! Coffee-yummy! We wanted to give it 5 points, but at the end when we paid the waiter asked for one euro more :( A bit of a rip-off, but it was still unpleasant... So 2 points gone.

Even though the Hotel (especially the rooms) are a bit on the dated side, it's a very nice place to spend a few days while exploring the area. Breakfast was included, which makes up for it being rather basic, and other than a anemic WiFi speed, everything was above and beyond great.

Three buildings AT THE DOCK- the placement is ideal on the water. We had a family room- one of 2 at top floor of the ‘art nouveau’ building closest to dock- we had an entry way, Big bathroom, Massive main room with K bed , closets and 2 chairs, second room with K bed, closet. The room with balcony is very comfortable. Easy walk to the thermal spa through an underground tunnel. The front desk offers great help, especially I don’t speak Germany. The room services, the breakfast and the kindness of the front desk staff exceed our expectations!

I loved it. The room, the thermal baths, the food. Everything is high quality and leaves nothing to be desired. I had a traditional massage that was also very well done. All the staff at the hotel and the baths were very professional and friendly. I will be returning and I'm recommending it to friends and family.

Swimming and relaxing were the highlights of our two wonderful days at the hotel. Although the room is spacious and nice, we were missing air conditioning! In fact, it was a very hot night. The location and views are exceptional but the staff was absolutely amazing! We have been in Germany (from the USA) for two weeks and 7 different hotels and this was, by far, the best stay.

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. This was a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a lovely city. The room was large, clean and luxurious feeling, and the surroundings breathtaking. The weather was extremely hot (30 degrees Celsius) so the lack of air conditioning was am issue, but the cool nights made up for that. The perfect total package! We spent 1 week in the "Buchbichl" holiday apartment with 4 adults and 2 children, and it was really great. The Marchlhof and its owners Ina and Martin live hospitality and animal welfare in a way that is rarely experienced. They don't give you a chance not to feel comfortable, so it was difficult for us to leave our great apartment and farm for excursions. Everything just fits together and we didn't miss anything.
