The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We visited the hotel with two children. It happened and we checked in and checked out together with two other families. I noticed a different attitude to us who were not German to the other families who were German. Even to children. The other children were given a free book and sweets while ours were not. A room with a view This property is in a very picturesque location right on the water. Many people have weddings here and I can see why. The rooms were spacious and modern with a large bathroom/shower. The breakfast was great with a large selection of lunch meats, cheeses, eggs, breads coffees and teas.

The "garden rooms" (#17 & #18) are a bit disadvantaged - behind the house, small window in the main room, no window in the bathroom - but very clean and the beds are great. What really makes this place is the breakfast, though: great variety presented beautifully and with charm. Tasty, too. If you're a foodie, this will warm your heart. Nice place, recommended.

Extremely enjoyable stay! Wasn't going to be our original destination, nor our first choice, but boy I'm glad we ended up here! The lady's running the day to day are extremely helpful and kind. The room was really nice - but the room Was very cold and no one could help us turn on the heat. They finally brought us an extra blanket and we hung the provided bathrobes on the towel heater to warm up. However - the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had.

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

Fabulous location! Super comfy spacious room. Staff friendly. Lots of drawer space in bathroom. Balcony was really nice to sit on. Parking next to the hotel, however as public could get very busy. Short walk to ferries. Fabulous breakfast!

Located right next to Lake Chiemsee, it offers stunning sunrise and sunset views. Swans glide gracefully, creating a picturesque scene. The restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, and a water park is nearby. A truly unforgettable experience.

Advantages: It's one of the few hotels that provides complimentary bottled water in the rooms and also gives you tea bags. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Swimming and relaxing were the highlights of our two wonderful days at the hotel. Although the room is spacious and nice, we were missing air conditioning! In fact, it was a very hot night. The location and views are exceptional but the staff was absolutely amazing! We have been in Germany (from the USA) for two weeks and 7 different hotels and this was, by far, the best stay.

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, and the fish is very famous, which is caught in the lake next to it. The waiter is very nice. The towels in the hotel were a bit dirty, but otherwise there was nothing wrong with it.

This was our third stay at Marchlhof, and we can wholeheartedly recommend a holiday there! The apartments are spacious and superbly equipped, the lovingly landscaped farm offers countless opportunities for children, and Ina and Martin are such warm and welcoming hosts! The Marchlhof and its owners Ina and Martin live hospitality and animal welfare in a way that is rarely experienced. They don't give you a chance not to feel comfortable, so it was difficult for us to leave our great apartment and farm for excursions. Everything just fits together and we didn't miss anything. The central location is ideal for a visit to Rosenheim, close to both the city center and the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since it was very hot, I would have appreciated air conditioning and a refrigerator in the room. I will choose this hotel again the next time I visit Rosenheim.

This chain hotel offers great service and a full range of facilities. Plus, there's a supermarket nearby which is very convenient.

There is a Rewe Express and a petrol station near the hotel, and parking is $3 Euro a night (7pm-7am). The shower water pressure is enough so that it won't be cold and hot at times. Breakfast included, and quite rich

Very cool hotel, perfect global taste of breakfast for everyone.

If you are visiting, I would reccomend it for families. My family did not stay here , but we are their. The food was very good(big meals) and it was inspired by Austrian, italian and german. I especially liked the playground it offered for the smaller children. The parents could be sitting and chatting while not having to worry about their child.

The hotel is nice and clean, right next to Rosenheim train station. Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot. Inform the front desk about parking and use the machine to print your parking card, which gives you a discount and allows you to enter and exit repeatedly. It costs 12 euros per night.

I stopped by here on my way to Innsbruck, and the location was fantastic. It's right next to the train station. The air conditioning worked well, and I was satisfied with the price. There are many trains to Munich, and it took about an hour to get to Innsbruck. I spent 5-6 hours exploring Munich, and even though I came back in the evening, the area near the station was safe and pleasant.

Not very practical, but very friendly staff My 1 bed room was ok but very practical. The bathroom was very tiny, the sink just a “wc corner sink”, so it was hard to wash face and clean teeth… My window was direction main road, so it become very loud in the morning. The hotel would be ok for 50-60€, which was not my case, i paid almost double. I found it overpriced. However, the staff was very helpful...

Apart from main building you find this flat (underground + ground level), all in all the room is clean and acceptable for 2 nights stay but some things can be easily improved: we had no clear info on how to access the flat forced ventilation is not working in both “blind” toilets English is not spoken by the staff

Peaceful, kinda cosy and convenient. Breakfast, though a little savoury heavy, was good enough. No lift. We arrived close to 21:00, when their kitchen closes. Couldn't tell if they were being helpful or making us choose certain things. Either way, the food and beer were good and went down well.

Overall, while the hotel may show signs of age, its unique features, charm, and value often make it a decent and memorable place to stay.

Area is in central "walking zone" beside a tree lined park. Paid Parking on street; hotel offers some private parking at expense (becoming common in Germany). Breakfast included, which is becoming less common in Germany. Easy walking to central shopping and restaurants. Room was nicely furnished and clean. Old style stately hotel with high ceilings. Restaurant and bar appear well appointed.

Really enjoy staying there. They do need more lighting in the hallways and rooms especially using the keys they have.

Lovely stay We had a beautiful large and comfortable room with nice views. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The mattress was not firm enough for my taste but ok. The hotel is a little bit worn in some areas but we had reasonable room rates. The location is great for walking to town and trains.

Relatively old, traditional hotel that might have been a 4 or 5 star many years ago. The room was sufficient but lacked any kind of character. The service in the evening was non existent, the breakfast team very helpful instead. The location is great in the middle of the city

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was simple but very comfortable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made sure we felt at home. A wonderful continental breakfast topped it all off.

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful place. We stayed here mid November and had the most beautiful experience. The room was just divine with the best view - we enjoyed the sunset from our balcony looking out into the Alps. The room was spacious and luxurious with excellent attention to detail. A great modern yet traditional room with very nice view, all very clean and convenient, impressive breakfast and superb diner. Beautiful and extremely clean. We stayed for one night in the "attic" super larger apartment room. Perfect for a family of five. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious.
