Centrally situated with walking distance to the town centre with all amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was enough (wouldn't eat more at home). The room was reasonable (just there for the nights) and the bed was comfy.

Individually decorated rooms, we have stayed there after a private Ceremony. The food was very good, the staff friendly and fast. A clear recommendation.

Excellent place to stay. Very good food. Room was adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was a bit warm when we got there. We requested a fan which was delivered to our room in less than 10 minutes. Very nice location. Enjpyed our stay very much.

Very good food with a focus on wild animals from the forest. It's all very tasty and juicy. Really nothing to complain about. Defintly something you should give it a try when being around in the area.

We had lunch with the family and were served very nicely and treated in a friendly manner! The fireplace makes it look nice and cozy and the restaurant is pretty quaint. I had the roulade menu which tasted good. A little too spicy, but that's a matter of taste. Some found the lunch menu lacking in variety but I find it reasonable. Until next time

Simply class. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Very lovingly decorated and everything set up at the table. Only to recommend. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are newly made. The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses on the beds.

Room 27 for 2 nights. Weather was very warm the first night and with no breeze and no ventilator in the room I could not sleep.The bed quilt provided was more for winter use than summer. Room is very spacious with separate bedroom and lounge which is nice. No fridge in the room and no complimentary water/Coffee. This hotel is conveniently located right next to the highway, making it ideal for those traveling by car. The reasonable parking rates are also a plus. There are few restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to plan your meals in advance. The room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom seemed a bit dated.

Decent rooms at a fair price for a one night stopover while heading for Krakow. Clean, good beds-would stay here again when in the vicinity. Slightly overworked staff at checkout complained to us about the duty roster - not very professional. Location is somewhat industrial and near a highway, but by no means were we bothered by that.

It's sad how superficial the cleaning team's work is. It's not pleasant for guests to see the sink pipes looking disgusting and calcified. And the toilet has some cracks. Something like that should be reported, but if they don't speak German... it just keeps going, and the guests don't feel comfortable with so much disgust.

High class 1980's DDR Hotel If you are used to high class Hotels, in the 1980-s DDR/East Germany, then you gonna feel like home here, because that was the feeling i got! Ok, it was nice, neat, convinient, clean. But, the AC was a bit noisy, the towels where fringly, the leather at the bottom om the bed was worn, the shower was a bit low, so with mine 181 cm, had to bend down a bit to get my head...

Restaurant was terrible and there was no drinking water available in the hotel

The hotel is quite new. All materials and finishing is new, modern and arranged in good taste. Specious rooms! Comfortable beds, enough various pillows, all necessary room facilities, very well insulated, great breakfast- all you need, including fresh made warm stuff. It has been one of the best stay I have ever had.

The hotel doesn't make a good impression when you see it. Seems outdated and not takes care of. But after this impression fades, you are left with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, parking space, helpful staff, and a nice variety of foods during breakfast. Could be a little less costly though. 😉

The rooms were available at very short notice. The rooms were cozy and big. The breakfast was excellent and I had the possibility to stay longer because of an quick online meeting I did in the restaurant . There is a parking slot available as well.

The hotel is looking sad from the outside but the room we had although dated was clean and presentable. It seems the hotel caters mostly to bus tours and workers at the large train assembly plant across the road. The restaurant was closed during our visit so we walked into town for dinner. THe breakfast was average for a 3 star hotel. This place has seen better days but it was not a bad stay.

The room was very clean, but a little pricey for the quality (more so, outdated). The service was excellent and very kind. The breakfast brunch was the best, really. They also supplied a nice kinder bed without me asking, i found this be very thoughtful. And they didnt make a fuss about late check-out, which i found to be super helpful when traveling with 2 children by myself. Thank you!

Lovely little hotel w a very nice breakfast, close to shopping and restaurants on the square. Rooms are decent w high ceilings and windows, but the bed is very hard, pillows are not great and the tiny shower door didnt seal And leaked water everywhere for each shower. Otherwise it was very nice and worth the stay.

My Son and I stayed at the hotel after traveling to Cottbus for surgery. We found the staff very helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay from the front desk through to the cleaners. The hotel was situated in the centre with many restaurants/bars within easy walking distance, we eat at a different place on every one of the 6 nights of our stay. The room was excellent value

I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel right in the heart of the city. The staff at the reception and during breakfast were genuinely kind and helpful — it didn’t feel forced at all, which I really appreciated. Our room was cozy and nicely heated. The breakfast was also really good, with lots of different options to choose from.

Even my Last Minute Booking was not that expensive and all in all it was a fair deal. The rooms are Clean and nicely tempered, all the employees I met were professional and friendly. The Lounge next to the entrance is a good place to have a cold Beer After Work, even though that is quite expensive. Anyway the town is right next to the hotel and there you can find nice Restaurants and affordable drinks

Excellent breakfast, friendly service, very helpful, the problem of inadequate air conditioning when the sun was shining was solved by changing the room facing away from the sun.

I'm a regular here, and I'm treated like a guest. I always get a personal greeting, a smile, and kind words! Today I had the pleasure of chatting with the chef. I ordered from the new menu for the first time and had the burger. The burger was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I declined the truffle mayo. But I did get a sample of the regular mayo, and I'll definitely order it again next time...

If you drive, it's no problem. It's remote. The service is very good. Family-run hotel. For a boat trip, you have to go to the harbor in Burg. 23 km away.

A nice hotel with very friendly staff. My room with a balcony was a good size and very clean. The breakfast buffet is decent. I ate dinner in the restaurant twice, and the food was good. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel for €10. The bikes are just about okay, but perfectly acceptable for the price. It's 18 km round trip to the city center.

Everything was great. Spacious room with a balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Dinner is also available. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. The main road and Höffner store didn't bother us. Cottbus Baltic Sea is in the immediate vicinity.

We visited the restaurant there and loved it. The food was really delicious. Even the chef came to the table and wished us a good appetite. We were all very well fed, thanks to the pumpkin soup, tagliatelle with salmon, pancakes and the selected meat dishes. Highly recommended and the chef shouldn't be leaving his job so hold on tight.

There were five of us here on a Friday for lunch after a hike. Making the reservation went perfectly. A round table was waiting for us. The Spreewaldeck is a traditional, home-style restaurant. Rustic, with decor that seems to date back to the early 2000s. The waitresses were very friendly, and the service was excellent. --2025 update-- We just left after our 5th stay at Spreewaldeck. This time we came to Lübbenau for the Christmas Markets - see a separate review. We discovered at the last minute that you needed tickets for admission. When we arrived at Sprewaldeck we asked the manager about it and he confirmed we did need tickets. 10 minutes later after we dumped our bags in our room we came back through the lobby...

The hotel is okay overall. However, I personally wouldn't pay the room rates. The rooms are clean. Housekeeping does a good job, and the food is above average. The location near the harbor is excellent. There is ample parking.

Stayed here on a solo trip and enjoyed every bit of what the castle and the space had to offer. The food at the restaurant was excellent! The staff were lovely and I also wished I were here with some of my friends who would appreciate it all.

The Schlosshotel is a great spot to explore Lübbenau. It might need a tiny refreshment, but the buildings and the park are beautiful and offer a insight into the glorious past of the town. Above all, the employees are very very nice and helpful. I want to thank them here.

Very little English speaking staff at front desk. Changes in lobby bar hours/services with no warning. They had no shampoo/conditioner in room but had shower caps despite no shower in room. Reserved a queen bed room and given a loft with spiral steps to bedroom on second floor, not mentioned I reservation. Loft warm with only a small window and fan for ventilation.

FRC70 It was a very nice stay, staff very friendly. Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. The only big negative was that my wife and myself wanted to use the spa and have a massage, as advertised on the website. But we were told it doesn’t open during the summer!😞

A lovely experience! The room (in the old fachwerkgebäude) was wonderfully spacious, and the garden exuded charm—a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of tea. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it's an impeccable choice for a romantic retreat or family getaway. P.S. Very nice stay. The only bad thing was the noise from the trains during the night. We had to keep our windows open as it was some warm nights. Nice city. We went to the harbours of Lubbenau, to a museum with cars from the old east block and to the Spreewald Therme. All places we will recommend!

Ideal situation very close to autobahn. We used it to stop over on our way to and from Praha. The rooms were satisfactory and the price was acceptable. The breakfast was abundant and the choice of dinner courses satisfactory. We will certainly return, if we find ourselves in this part of Germany again.

I stayed for two days and returned late, and on both days I couldn't park properly, risking damage to my car and squeezing in so tightly I could barely get out. Clean rooms, nicely furnished. Excellent access to the highway, not far from the city, with a McDonald's and gas station right next door. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly at check-out.
