Oberzent-Hostelstyle für aktive Touristen

I Spent 3 nights at the hostel and was more than pleased. The service was excellent and the owners most helpful and friendly. The location is excellent with a supermarket literally around the corner and a beautiful surrounding. The mountain bike park is at cycling distance which is also to ones liking. All around had a delightful stay and would recommend this establishment every day of the week.
P.S. Their dog is lovely.

I ended up dripping wet in Oberzent on my bike tour and, although I hadn't booked anything, I was welcomed spontaneously and very friendly. The hosts are the best and the hostel is perfect. The rooms have everything you need and in the large, comfortable kitchen you can relax, watch TV, cook, etc. I was able to park my bike in the garage and there is a nice outdoor area with a small tent area. The whole stay was such a great experience that I'm glad the thunderstorm took me there.

The hostel is located in the middle of the small town of Beerfelden, Oberzent. The bus station is right around the corner and a Rewe supermarket not more than a 100m away. I stayed in a comfortable simple family room that had all I required. There was enough light, power sockets at every corner and a big table with two chairs for work related things. Everything was super clean and tidy. The room comes with a private toilet. The showers are shared between the inhabitants of the hotel.
The common room, that also included the kitchen was spacious and had truly everything one needed for cooking. The kitchen being a lot better than the one I haves at home.
Outside there’s a lot of nature to see and a true country feeling to the town which gives it it’s own special flair. There’s a garage where one can leave his bike, and also all kinds of tools that the owners would gladly lent to anyone needing to repair something wrong with their bike.
However all those things aside, what truly made my stay here remarkable were the wonderfully nice and friendly owners of the place, Henry and David. They would go out of their way to help me with anything I needed, and I mean truly anything, and that always with a smile and a kind remark. It truly made the stay here enjoyable.
All in all, if you find yourself in need of a place to stay in Beerfelden, be it for vacation or for work related purposes, I would wholeheartedly recommend you to give this hostel a try!
