The Hotel has a great breakfast buffet with a lot of different fruit, cereal, bread and topping. The beds are super comfortable, the towels super soft. I enjoyed the hot shower anD a good night sleep after a day of exploring the historic city of Marburg.

Dropping my daughter off at Phillips University. Being from the US and not speaking German, they were extremely helpful and friendly. Taxi, directions, dinner suggestions plus more! Perfectly located in the center of town quick walk to everywhere especially the castle.

Everything is good except the pillow which is too soft to support the neck.Breakfast is good

WORST PILLOWS EVER! For some reason, Germany loves these massive, square pillows. My in-laws (also German) have them as well, and their pillows are bad, but this hotel's pillows take the cake. Even my husband--who's been sleeping on these wacky pillows his entire life--had a terrible sleep due to **his words** "...that terrible pillow." It's a shame, because everything else about the hotel was lovely...

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a comprehensive breakfast selection - we'd love to have the chance to visit again! The complimentary lemonade and the 3€ beer fridge next to the reception desk are some amazing perks too.

Comfortable, beautiful, modern Had a lovely stay. The hotel was quiet even though there were many people. My room had a little balcony and I could sleep with the door open and get fresh air without it being noisy outside. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom very clean and modern. The hotel is also very central and walking distance from the train station.

Very nice hotel in Michelstadt five miles outside of Marburg. Small farming village of 800 people. Nice walkable village. Great, reasonably priced restaurant at hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

Amazing hotel. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has excellent food made from local produce. There are also multiple parking spaces for your vehicle. Overall an excellent experience.

Nice family owned hotel. Really genuine feel. Open and relaxed. It's the small things that count. Staff saying hello everytime you walk by, housekeeping checking to see if everything is ok. Complimentary mini bar, snacks and communal espresso machine in the mezzanine area.

Its a family maintained hotel. Rooms are good but far from town/city. Its located at valley and without a vehicle, cant commute anywhere.

Quaint and quiet little hotel idyllicly located in a small village outside Marburg. The restaurant is great, and the owners who run the day to day service are very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast buffet is very good! And when they say fresh honey, they bring in the actual honeycomb from the hive!

While this property isn’t in the most beautiful of areas, seems a little industrial, don’t let that deter you from booking here. The check in was easy. The position, though in an industrial area, is practical because of easy access to buses into the centre of town. Walking to town along the river is attractive (about 30 mins easy walk). Breakfast is fine and the breakfast room nice. Our suite was good, but it is important to know that access to the bed is via a spiral staircase.

Poor location, walking distance 3kms from historic centre. Fine by day but doesn't feel safe at night. Price is high for the location. Bad pillows. Very good breakfast.

This is a great little hotel. Room was small but well designed. Staff was friendly and competent. Breakfast was great. So why only 3 stars? The location seemed safe but charmless. This gem of a hotel is set in an area of warehouses and light industry. It is a fine choice for a one night stop but we wouldn't recommend a long stay.

Overall the food was fresh and the choice was good but very geared towards German and Dutch pallets, my only big bear is that I booked an ‘Adult only’ hotel which had a baby of under two staying with his parents, he cried in the dining area, threw food on the floor and could be heard before he was seen, I have nothing agains children but when I book an adult only hotel it’s what I expect

Room was clean. Slightly expensive for that type of room. But overall it was ok. No complains.

I actually liked this hotel! It is the best option for people who still haven’t found an accommodation or waiting for place to stay. It is very clean, the staff are so kind and friendly, and the location is close to everything you need. The house master is friendly and kind and so are the rest of the staff. I would surely recommend!

Very clean and nicely decorated rooms (Miro, Chagall,...) good beds. Shared bathrooms and WC also clean and well equipped. If you arrive after 7 p.m. you get a number key to open the box with a card. All well organized.

Had a lovely evening eating here with colleagues. The food was lovely and it was a nice concept to have individual cabins, like eating in a rustic cabin. Great service.

The atmosphere and service at the Restaurant is inviting and comfortable. The food is excellent, specifically the Weiner Schnitzel is the best that I have ever had. I had the pleasure of meeting Konrad who can trace his family to 1600’s and his son now leads the kitchen. If you are in the Marburg area, this is a worthwhile stop for a beer and dinner. Ask for Nina, she provided outstanding service...

What I hoped to see in a German guest house - traditional local food, excellent!

I went there for a 80th birthday of a friend. The food, the drinks and the service was fine and friendly.

We really appreciated the service, the decoration and comfort. We loved the bar and the lounge with the Juke-box. We will certainly go back to the hotel. Very good ratio price and services. Thank you ^^

I really enjoyed my short day at this hotel. The room seemed fairly new and very clean, also it was quiet at night and the check in and check out was convenient, there is a reception which is staffed until 10 PM, but you can also check in to a terminal after hours. I recommend this hotel for a day in my book with without reservations.

We stayed for 7 days in a triple room for €742 (bed only), and while the hotel met some basic expectations, there were a few areas that could be improved. The room was generally clean, but details like the absence of drinking glasses in the bathroom and the fact that our bedding wasn’t changed at all during the entire stay affected overall comfort. For the price paid, we expected more value perhaps...

This hotel is a sad place. It has no atmosphere or personal character at all. It is a typical investment hotel, built into a former parking garage, completely impersonal and everywhere looks the same. The price of 140 euros for a small room for one person is far too high. You can get much nicer accommodation for that in the beautiful town of Marburg. Unfortunately, they were all fully booked that weekend
