A clean and spacious room; the breakfast is quite good
Near the old town. Breakfast was good. Limited onsite parking but free public parking available less than 30s walk from the hotel.
Great service and a nice room. The breakfast had a good selection. Good location, just a short walk to the old town.
Avoid staying near room 117. Someone is always smoking under windows and you can not open your winodows. As there is no air conditioning in the room in can get very hot. Asked in reception several time no reaction.
Friendly staff and great hotel. Staff is very accommodating and you can ask them what are the things around to sightsee. Convenient and near the town and area. Had a great stay. Highly recommended! Overall Buxtehude is a nice friendly town.

After getting unexpectedly stuck in Buxtehude for the night the staff were helpful enough to check me in late at night with no reservation. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and a stressfull evening was made comfortable. Many thanks!

Cute hotel located in the old watermill of the historic old city center of Buxtehude (first city in Germany where a harbor and mill was purposefully built as part of the city center with a canal to provide access and regulate the tide. The view over the historic old city is just beautiful. Well worth paying the extra EUR 10 for a room with the view. The location is unbeatable as it is located right...

The night I stayed there was very good. In addition, they answered very fast my messages through Booking.com, which made things easier for me as I needed gluten-free food for breakfast. The scrambled eggs were amazing! If I have to go to Buxtehude again, I will probably repeat in this place. Danke vielmals für ales!

We attended a wedding at the country hotel and were absolutely thrilled. Apparently, they're constantly modernizing, and we stayed in an older room. However, it was spotlessly clean and cozy, and we haven't had such comfortable beds in ages. The breakfast room is quite modern, and the personalized service and the buffet itself were excellent. The wedding dinner was fantastic. We can highly recommend...
INCREDIBLE. The entire staff are friendly, funny. The atmosphere in the bar/restaurant was layed back. And everyone in the place were great. Thank you. What an amazing evening.
Elevator, refrigerator, and AC was the missing parts. Other than that everything was excellent!
Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly! Lovely location on the edge of the Altes Land region southwest of Hamburg. Beds are quite hard, which I really liked.
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We are particularly pleased that you can have pleasant conversations with the owners and not just be "any guest". The team is very friendly and you feel welcome. The wedding we were invited to was also great. If we're around again, we'll definitely be back!
I'm totally thrilled, quick telephone booking, uncomplicated, price-performance ratio absolutely okay, staff really nice, met the owner personally and had a super friendly conversation! My first choice when I'm around here again! Top room, bathroom absolutely clean and comfortable! Immediately recommended, very quiet area!

Nice and clean rooms of different size. Well organised for late coming (no 24 hrs personnel) with magic box to drop your key. Localised in a very convenient place for my purposes.
I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Excellent accomadations, wonderful service and priced correctly. Highly recommended!

In the first floor of a shiny yellow Captains House our 3 1/2 room 160 m/2 holiday apartment bids... you a warm welcome.
The house is located in a short dead end road only a brief walk away from the old town city center of Buxtehude with its litte shops and restaurants on the one side as well as the railway station on the other side. From there you can reach Hamburg Main Station in a 39 minutes and beautiful Stade in a 15 minutes ride.
The nearest restaurant, bakery, pharmacy and so forth are merely a 100 meters away.
By Bike you can reach the city limits towards the marshland or the hills in the South within a few minutes without using main roads.
You will enter the apartments internal hall covered with linoleum over external stairs and a public entrance hall.
The well equipped kitchen with lots of lockers, dish-washer and table for 6 offers direct access to the balcony.
The living room provides parquet floor, a sofa that can be used to sleep 2 persons, a 60 ' TV with German cable TV and DVD player. Attached to it you will find the bright conservatory with another table sitting 6 persons comfortably.
The two large bedrooms offer double beds, plenty cabinet-space, seating, parquet- respectively plank flooring and an extra TV in one of them. The larger bedroom has an additional expandable sofa to sleep children, an extra nursery-bed is available for the very young.
The apartment offers one small, but fully functional rest/showerroom and one larger bathroom with shower, washer/ dryer and access to the sauna as well as the balcony.
The sauna sits up to 4 persons and can be reached over the larger bathroom. It has been built fairly high on purpose so it can host unexperienced users or children together with sauna professionals at the same time offering a temperature difference of about 10 ° Celsius between the lowest and the highest bench.
Down some stairs you will find a space for luggage. The cleaning-equipment, Children seat, balcony-pillows, freezer and more usefull stuff can be found here, as well.
The balcony is offering a table and seating for up to 6 persons and direct view and access into the garden, where you are welcome to pay our cheerful chicken a visit ( no rooster !).
A large carport with room for bicycles is at hand on the property.
