This hotel has the best breakfast buffet I have experienced in Germany and very helpful staff. The dinner Buffet was also really good, but a drinks menu would be useful before ordering drinks. The building is very interesting as it has many functions halls and a rooftop terrace on the upper floor. The wellness area has friendly and experienced staff, but if you want have a treatment best to reserve it when booking the stay or at least one week before the stay.

Check in was easy, found my room, which was spotlessly clean. Decor is very much reflective of Jever Beer, carpets, lamps, all green. Window had a roller shutter, which made it nice and dark. Great shower pressure, comfy bed, nice desk to work at, adequate storage for clothes. The pool was nice. Sauna and Gymlooked good. Food is good, had an evening meal a few times a d breakfast excellent. Large choice and excellent timings. Great warm choice. I am used to hot breakfast. Great sauseges, but bacon American style, streaky and crunchy. Prefer the British style. Preferences I guess. I travel over every 4 to 6 weeks, so have stayed in a few Hotels in the area. Dissappointments: no kettle or coffeemaker in the room and no fridge/ minibar. A bottle of water and a bottle of pop were on a table, but warm. Staff and Restaurant/Bar service excellent.

I had a good stay at the hotel.
So why the three stars.....I thought about it long. So here are the pros and cons:
Pro
- big parking space
- room with enough space or stacker for everything
- fitness
- breakfast open early in the morning at 6.30 am. Had a very good variety of cheese, meat, sweets, and eggs
- staff was friendly
Con
- when the breakfast is open at 6.30am I want the variety. On most days, the scrambled egg needed 20 to 30 min. And I didn't have a lot of time, so that was pretty bad for me.
- the fitness was not open 24/7. And someone has to open it because it was included with a spa area
- no towles on some days and no water fountain. Some barbells would be a nice add-on.
- no mini fridge
But still, I had a good stay and would recommend this hotel at any time.

BEWARE of rooms 118A and probably 118B, 119A and 119B which purport to be 'Friesich Premium Zimmer' and are definitely not! I looked into a proper 'Friesich Premium Zimmer' (#212) and found it to be roughly 2 metres longer and probably around 8m2 bigger than our 118A. I had booked the 'Friesich Premium Zimmer' directly on the hotel website with the room shown being the same as the larger room. The bombastic receptionist swore blind that room 118A was the same size as the one shown on the internet. Untrue! The hotel was full so I couldn't move to the larger room that I had booked. I asked for a rebate and was told 'Out of the Question'! VERY customer unfriendly experience to say the least. This is serious mis-selling as far as I am concerned. To cap it all, the toilet fan scarcely worked and the curtain fell off its rail! On a positive note, the breakfast was good and their mass catering for our large group was well done.

My wife and I completely enjoyed our time here. We spent four days and three nights. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The food was very nice and surprisingly good. We could not speak highly enough about our experience here. Just an overall great experience.

Premium rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff a little inattentive. Other guests stand outside and chat/smoke late at night disturbing others, and coach parties leave early and not quietly.

The room looked newly renovated and was clean. The breakfast was unsurpassable. A vegetarian 3-course menu was put together especially for us, which delighted us. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We also tried the small but nice sauna and swimming pool area and found it to be good. Full marks from us!

Very nice hotel room, clean, nicely furnished. Breakfast was super good. We had half board, dinner was delicious, something for everyone. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. We also got a picnic basket, which was richly filled with drinks, meatballs, sausages, apples 🍎, sandwiches, muesli bars.
