I travel for work and have stayed in many hotels. This hotel is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. My room was very nice and the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I ate in the hotel restaurant all week because - with food so good - there was no reason to go elsewhere. The staff is kind and attentive. I am looking forward to my next visit to Papenburg.

I was at Hotel Restaurant Engeln for three nights. The staff is well manered and always eager to help.
The main shopping area is a bit far for walking to the centrum but not totally outcounted. The room did not include a fridge but otherwise the room was comfortable. Oh, I do recommend bringing your own shower soap and shampoo..
The only downside was poor wifi quality. I couldn't work at my room but the staff from reception told me where I could work. Still got sent away because of a seminar that took place in that room. I still managed to work on the bar side though.

Good position,room smaller, Internet ok, breakfast no comment...(the salmon in the end of the week restart to breath)
