Appropriate price-performance ratio. Tidy rooms, clean and all in all okay. Parking spaces can become scarce. Breakfast is sufficient. Pizzeria across the street and a pleasant place with good cuisine next to the hotel.

I stayed here for one night last weekend with a group of 6 men on a bicycle tour. For our purpose this was exactly the right place. Self-check-in, late arrival, secure bike garage and a good breakfast buffet deserve a good review. One problem with one of our 3 rooms was dealt with in a professional manner, even so there was no staff on site. Overall good value for the money!

We were invited to a birthday party and stayed overnight at the house. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service throughout the evening. The menu was very interesting. I was very satisfied with my meal. Breakfast the next morning was also very good, with a wide selection. We will definitely come back with friends. Such excellent cuisine is rare these days.

We were here as part of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route. After conquering the climb, we were able to park our bikes in the on-site garage. We were also allowed to charge them there. Once we warmed up to the staff, the evening went wonderfully! We had a great time with the owner's son, had a lot of fun, and received excellent service. All in all, a fantastic stay – I highly recommend it.

I celebrated my birthday there with my family. The staff and Mrs. Hoffmann were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and all requests were accommodated. Whether it was children's or senior citizen portions, even gluten-free food was taken into account. Thank you for the lovely evening. 101% for the delightful orchard.

Always very good and nice hosts, unfortunately it will no longer exist under the old management. A lot will change. We wish the previous owners all the best and a good peaceful retirement.

The breakfast was gigantic. In the breakfast room there is a freezer with excellent cold cuts. My first impression was that it was a farm shop. But no, it wasn't like that. These cold cuts are for the guests. The nice hosts cut as much of each variety as you want (there was also real Parma ham). We were extremely impressed by this generosity and friendliness and will definitely be back. Many Thanks

Good base for excursions into the surrounding area. Delicious breakfast. Overall very clean. Somewhat old furniture, but well maintained, bathroom almost new. Parking available at the back of the hotel.

Older hotel, nice staff and great breakfast

We were there for a weekend running event and staff could not have been more friendlier or helpful. Rooms were very clean and cosy. Beds were comfortable and bedding warm. Breakfast was perfect for us, briotchen, cheese, ham, jams, chef was very friendly and had no issues in putting on the kettle for a cuppa tea. The little bar area is perfect way to end a tiring day. I took advantage of the offer to sleep 3 nights, pay 2 and pursued my passion for hiking there last week. The room was very well renovated and I am missing nothing. Staff was super friendly and relaxed. The breakfast was sufficient and tasty. There was free parking.

Practically furnished, clean and friendly staff. Since we were often in youth hostels and have several comparisons, I unfortunately have to subtract a star when eating. However, the area and the rest of it is really worth the trip.

We were received very nicely and had a nice seating area. The quality of the products used was great, but the courses were rather uninspired. I would have hoped for a taste adventure rather than plain comfort food. Overall a pleasant evening, but I wouldn’t come again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast. The only thing I'd want to change is the shower faucet, you have to keep pressing it to keep the water running.
