Where to stay in Bad Berleburg

Beautiful Rooms and wonderful location; only negative was we were on the 4th floor with a lot of luggage (5 large bags) which was difficult to transport up tthe stairs as there wasn't a lift. Otherwise cannot fault this hotel and would stay again (but request a lower room to make it easier).

Breakfast was an extra fee and it was excellent. Syliva at the front desk is fantastic. Just a short walk to the castle and royal gardens and the church. They had a parking space for our rental car. Just perfect.

Next to the Berleburg Castle Nice mellow quiet food. Excellent breakfast.

Had a wonderful experience at Hotel Alte Schule when visiting the Alexander Mack Museum.

We stayed just for one night, I wish it could have been longer! We arrived much later than planned due to traffic, but the restaurant waited for me and my children so we could have dinner after a long trip. Staff is very friendly and the rooms and dining are bright and cozy.

Very nice hotel in a very charming village. The hotel itself is situated close to the gardens and to several beautiful hikes. The hotel itself is clean and charming, with an exceptionally great breakfast buffet. The room came with an unexpected bathtub which we enjoyed immensely, courtesy of the complimentary bathproducts that were included in the room

Actually an OK place, but seems a bit gloomy, and with rather poor lighting. Reasonable beds, and good breakfast.

A bit noisy due to the location. Rooms quite quaint. The young employee early in the morning was apparently still a little overwhelmed. But otherwise very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are in new German terms, 100% old school, furnishings from the 70s/80s. But nothing broken or stained, everything in super clean condition down to the last corner. The room is big enough to be able to move around in it. The price of 7 euros for breakfast is a joke. You get a large plate with different sausage, ham and cheese selection. In addition, eggs freshly prepared as desired, the portion...

Quiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

They don't speak much English. But, this place is fabulous. They display such generosity and care for their guests. I will definitely be back!
