I've stayed in many hotels for both business and pleasure, but the Berleburger Hof is by far the dirtiest and shabbiest hotel I've ever stayed in.
Don't let the pretty pictures on the website fool you; there's nothing wrong with it. From the room to the towels, the mattresses, and even the breakfast room.
Not to mention the smelly young man I checked in and out of, who was wearing exactly the same clothes on Sunday, with the same stains, that he was wearing on Friday.

Actually an OK place, but seems a bit gloomy, and with rather poor lighting. Reasonable beds, and good breakfast.

A bit noisy due to the location. Rooms quite quaint. The young employee early in the morning was apparently still a little overwhelmed. But otherwise very warm and friendly atmosphere.

The rooms are in new German terms, 100% old school, furnishings from the 70s/80s. But nothing broken or stained, everything in super clean condition down to the last corner. The room is big enough to be able to move around in it. The price of 7 euros for breakfast is a joke. You get a large plate with different sausage, ham and cheese selection. In addition, eggs freshly prepared as desired, the portion of scrambled eggs would also be sufficient for 2 people. Fresh rolls from the bakery and orange juice. With the amount and quality of breakfast elsewhere, you pay twice as much for it. If you don't mind choosing a hotel without modern facilities, then this house is highly recommended.

They don't speak much English. But, this place is fabulous. They display such generosity and care for their guests. I will definitely be back!
