Is very centrally located in Medebach, you can do a lot on foot. What I personally missed: Minibar, safe and possibly kettle, which can now be found in almost every hotel. What I liked: The push in the bathroom under the sink, someone thought of us women🤗 And no carpet, I find it very hygienic 👍🤗 There are enough parking spaces. The VW dealer has an e-charging station just across the street.

Spacious accommodation and loads to do — no chance of anyone saying “I’m bored” here (which with kids is basically a miracle). The hotel is quite good. I didn't like the service; the staff at breakfast was completely unfriendly. There is no first aid kit in the hotel. The breakfast is not bad.

A very pleasant hotel with a large room and very relaxed owners. The furnishings are perfectly adequate. It's clear that the hotel is constantly being improved. I'm saddened that hotel chains in Willingen are jeopardizing the survival of family-run hotels in the surrounding area. I am staying at Sauerländer Hof on a regular basis. The rooms are great, there is plenty of parking and it is a good start for a bike trip or a walk. The hosts are extremely friendly and always trying to make your stay perfect. When I am in the area, I always try to stay there. Also try the restaurant, very tasty.

5* service of the personnel and owners. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant. Our room was lovely but not all rooms are renovated. Only downside was the location at a busy road. Insulation of the rooms is good but when you cannot open a window without car noise day and night. Would definitely come here again for the fantastic service and lovely owners.

The HAPIMAG resort is very good located to go to the ski slopes. Its close to walking path for hiking as well to go for city center walk. It has an indoor pool, wellness and a big garage facility including EV stations. The rooms are clean and have small kitchens for own cooking when needed. Can recommend if you go to Winterberg (DE).

We went there for dinner. Because of the ski jumping, the menu was limited, but there was a good selection. The rooms are in a Gelsenkirchen Baroque style – but the price is right. The food is minimalist. Not exactly a culinary highlight. The price-performance ratio isn't right in this case. My husband and I had a simply perfect time at the Hotel Oversum. Embedded in nature, architecturally beautiful inside and out with spacious rooms, we loved it. Overall the hotel is good, with good facilitées. The issue is with the staff with an employee being rude, unpolite, showing agressivity and not respecting privacy. I felt in danger ! I had to raise the case to my lawyer.

A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars.

For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. A lovely hotel, with wonderful breakfast and excellent pool and spa, right in the middle of town. It suffers a little from old fashioned decor but you can just choose to see that as charming.

Just 10 minutes outside of a ski area (Neuastenberg) - family friendly, super service and fabulous staff! Pool and sauna were lovely as was the breakfast buffet.

Dated hotel. Excellent breakfast, subpar dinner buffet. Large, cool pool with limited space around it. Beautiful wellness center. Time seems to have stood still here. Reasonably friendly staff. Excellent room for disabled guests, other rooms in need of renovation.

Food is simply awesome. We are the vegetarian guest and chef took extra care for us to cook specially for us. Buffet here was good and the Menu was awesome. staff is extremely friendly in the Restaurant especially with kids. Very proffessional and elegant. After Radisson, this is our next best hotel.

The hotel is very nice and has a good restaurant. After initially moving into a not-so-nice room (which, according to the nice owner, is now being changed), upon request we were offered another, really great room at no extra cost. Great stay - great thing!

Warm and friendly welcome and also very friendly staff. .The breakfast buffet is well extensive. Very tasty food working with fresh products and spices. That experiment, I recommend it to everyone to take half board, is great.👌👌And our dog was very welcome.

We had a nice stay. The real Sauerland breakfast was rich and delicious. The family-run hotel is very clean. Well-kept and spacious rooms. The city center and a hiking trail can be reached in just a few minutes.

We were there from Thu-Sun with 5 people and 5 dogs. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Free parking spaces at the house. We stayed in the building next door. Cozy, beautifully furnished rooms. The dogs were allowed to come to breakfast. The breakfast was rich, fresh and delicious. The hotel is centrally located, yet quiet on a side street. Highly recommended

We were there in mid-December and we really enjoyed it. As soon as we arrived in front of the house, we were totally amazed by the whole ambience, how lovingly it was decorated, how beautiful everything was, really a dream. The family that runs the house, the employees, everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful that you just don't want to leave. I then booked an upgrade to the suite as a little surprise...

The sports hotel is very nice and conveniently located near the slopes. However, the number of parking spaces was somewhat limited when the hotel was fully booked. The hotel bar is very cozy and also has an air-conditioned smoking room. The spa area is spacious and well-equipped. The indoor pool connects to the outdoor pool and is comfortable even at -6°C. Amazing place to stay for a weekend like also for longer. Very friendly staff. Fantastic food, great selection (buffet). Swimming pool with whole spa facility was super nice. I’m definitely considering to come back here in the future.

Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Very good service, super friendly staff and the food (whether in the evening or in the morning) was simply brilliant. We would book there again at any time. Please keep it up. I would also give 10 points if that was possible.

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

The entire house is super clean, a great breakfast with delicious coffee. Special requests are largely fulfilled. The garden is very well-maintained with plenty of seating. The owners are very friendly. Drinks can be ordered almost anytime. Excellent value for money! Just a few minutes' walk from the market square/town center with its many restaurants, cafés, and bars, some of which serve hot meals...

We spend a long weekend here at the end of May, it was delightful! The owners were incredibly welcoming, they serve great breakfast with fresh produce. The location is perfect for staying in Winterberg: there are shops, cafes and restaurants around, the train station is 15 mins walking. Overall highly recommend!

We liked the room and the breakfast. We had a nice place for breakfast with a view of the garden. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal: close to the city center, but still quietly located on a side street. A supermarket is around the corner.

Family atmosphere. Service is good. Beautifully landscaped garden with individual seating areas.

Accommodation is in a quiet side street, but still only a few steps away from the “town center”. Very nice owners. Great garden with terrace. Top breakfast buffet, enough tea or coffee, wide variety, nothing was missing. Room was "small" but cozy and very clean. Large carport for our motorcycle. Stayed here for 7 nights on a biking holiday with three friends. Excellent central location to the town. Parking to the side of the hotel with a key card entry to the side door which gives you immediate access to the lift for carrying luggage to your room etc. Rooms are large, airy and spotless which are serviced everyday. On site swimming pool, sauna and steam room are spot on. Breakfast is good but...

The location is excellent (but be aware that parking space is limited), rooms are a little bit outdated, but OK. The service is really bad, especially the owners are very unfriendly when you have an extra wish (e.g., fried eggs for breakfast) or small complaints (e.g., toilet flush is not working correctly). I suggest to find another alternative if possible.

We visited only the restaurant in the Hotel Hessenhof because there was on the menu: wild dishes from the local Hunter. We have ordered several dishes with wild boar and deer This was prepared BBQ style and truly delicious 😋! We can highly recommend this restaurant The service was also great!!

Hotel room comes with free access to the indoor swimmingpool, turkish steambath, infrared sauna and regular swedish sauna. Very relaxing. Situated right in the center of Winterberg.

The room was spacious, nice breakfast, lovely pool.

All together it wasn't very bad. However the waitress was not very pleasant and simple refused to speak English, she also had no patients what so ever and made the whole experience Al lot less pleasant. The food tasted pretty good, presentation was ok, but not as good as it used to be. The old school German taste wasn't very much there. Not the classic German vinegar salad that we used to love here...
