Great Hotel on a hill. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Really something special. Rooms comfertable and all what is needed. I had a nice view on the park that was below the hotel. Also nice restaurant in the hotel which makes that you have everything you need close.

Incredibly warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful receptionist. I was even allowed into my room earlier, which was very nice and very spacious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and has a really great atmosphere! Always happy to be totally relaxing there again!

The location is great. Bus station and Train station just a stones throw away form the hotel. The owners and staff very friendly. They certainly made us feel at home and welcoming.

Super Kind I've been to a five-star hotel, but there was no friendlier place than here. You charged my car in the rain for my car, which ran out of batteries on a rainy day. Thank you again. Thanks to you, I'm bringing good memories to Germany.

We had to do a late check in and the person at the front desk, was so nice with us.

Reasonable sized rooms, with good beds. Hotel could use a upgrade interior wise. We where there in the summer heat and with no air conditioning or a fan the room temperature was beyond comfortable, even with the windows open.

Lovely location, well appointed and excellent service from staff and management. The breakfast was plentiful and top quality, will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Rooms are very nice & clean. Would have liked coffee/tea facilities in the room. Breakfast was nice, didn't have the cooked just fruit & yoghurt with some very nice bread.

Lovely Hotel This is a lovely friendly family run hotel. Rooms and service brilliant. Fridge in downstairs area provided for guests for their own use. Breakfast really good, even cooking gluten free bread rolls to cater for allergy. Free car parking. Highly recommend a stay here.

Good experience and comfortable room at Sarah hotel. I enjoyed the quite room, hotel position with a large and private car parking outside, breakfast with a large variety of sweet and salts foods

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy rooms. Comfortable beds. Very good selection at breakfast. Restaurant is also very good with plenty of choice and very reasonably priced. Ate here on three occasions. Never disappointed. Would recommend.

Very cozy hotel! Rooms are nice and the staff is very nice too. The food at the restaurant is great! However, the restaurant is only open Tuesday through Sunday but breakfast is every day.

Unless you're staying there for the football. You're way outta town. Rooms were cool, although the large murals of the legendary football players heads, initially was brilliant... But weird at night. It felt like they were staring at you.

The hotel is very new and close to the football field, suitable for football fans. The facilities are complete and the design is very good. Recommended

Hotel is situated a little way out of town right by the stadium. Rooms are a little small but well equipped. Beds are comfortable and loads of light from big windows. Good location for soccer and concerts in the Nordpark area.

Nice facility. Really close to the Borussia Monchengladbach stadium although not real close to town. Only issue I had was wifi didn't work for most of the stay there.

Not been back in the Tannenhof for many years. But when we were on duty in the nearby Ayrshire Barracks we always enjoyed this nice hotel. The food. The draft beers. Great to note it still is there and in operation as a family business

Cosy and comfortable rooms, hospitable hosts, convenient location. I already stayed in Tannenhof several times and plan to come back again.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

A clean, small, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Mönchengladbach. The ride to the city takes a moment, but it is close to the stadium and a growing commercial area. They only serve breakfast, so be prepared to get your warm meals elsewhere. A supermarket is nearby. The charge for WiFi, but the prices are all right.

A great place to stay overnight after a Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga match. The rooms are clean, although a bit dated, but the mattresses are very good. Breakfast, at €19 per person, is good and reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for. If you have to spend a couple of days there, the hotel is fine.

Easily accessible from the highway. Unfortunately, dinner is not possible due to the kitchen closure.

We spent a football weekend at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although they are in need of some renovation. The furniture is a bit dated, but this doesn't affect the comfort. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast – a great start to the day.

Dirt cheap deal, and even the dog was welcome 😃. Very outdated, but very spacious room.

Staying on the third floor could create problems for the less mobile patrons as, per my room, the fire exit was through the fanlight and onto the roof where you would need to be extracted by the local fire brigade should there have been an internal fire. I have come across much worse during my extensive travels though.

Location is great for what we were looking for. Checking in is easy and the place is very clean and pretty big. Wasn't super easy to find but not complicated as well.

The room and the location was good. There is no complain about the hotel itself. Netto is right opposite the hotel. I always find it good to have a departmental store nearby. The bus station is in 2-3 min walk. Just I think that the bus is never on time in Mönchengladbach. There is a Cafeteria beside the hotel. Good to have your morning coffee. Inside the hotel a sitting area with some food/drinks...

This was a hard hotel to access we arrived late after a long journey, not manned at early hours in the morning we had difficulty logging into our rooms via the access machine and our phone, others were struggling also.
