Great Hotel on a hill. Great atmosphere and nice staff. Really something special. Rooms comfertable and all what is needed. I had a nice view on the park that was below the hotel. Also nice restaurant in the hotel which makes that you have everything you need close.

Incredibly warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful receptionist. I was even allowed into my room earlier, which was very nice and very spacious. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful location and has a really great atmosphere! Always happy to be totally relaxing there again!

The location is great. Bus station and Train station just a stones throw away form the hotel. The owners and staff very friendly. They certainly made us feel at home and welcoming.

Reasonable sized rooms, with good beds. Hotel could use a upgrade interior wise. We where there in the summer heat and with no air conditioning or a fan the room temperature was beyond comfortable, even with the windows open.

We arrived quite late at the hotel but the check-in with the machine was effortless. The room we had looked pretty new and was very well equipped and cleaned. Also the price/quality ratio is amazing if you compare with other hotels in the area. Free water and coffee is available. Recommended.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, perfect restaurant & taste. We stayed for Drupa exhibition, 5 nights. İt was a good experience. İt is not so far away from the messe, about 30km away, driving from the motorway takes about 20 minutes to arrive the hotel. The restaurant has Michelin star awards. Very cozy hotel! Rooms are nice and the staff is very nice too. The food at the restaurant is great! However, the restaurant is only open Tuesday through Sunday but breakfast is every day.

Unless you're staying there for the football. You're way outta town. Rooms were cool, although the large murals of the legendary football players heads, initially was brilliant... But weird at night. It felt like they were staring at you.

Nice facility. Really close to the Borussia Monchengladbach stadium although not real close to town. Only issue I had was wifi didn't work for most of the stay there.

We know the Tannenhof for many years. And are Happy that it's still family run and doing well. In the old BAOR garrison years myself and some staff used to almost live in this nice quiet and laid back hotel.

A great place to stay overnight after a Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga match. The rooms are clean, although a bit dated, but the mattresses are very good. Breakfast, at €19 per person, is good and reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for. If you have to spend a couple of days there, the hotel is fine.

We spent a football weekend at this hotel. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, although they are in need of some renovation. The furniture is a bit dated, but this doesn't affect the comfort. We particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast – a great start to the day.

The rooms are clean and tidy, but they look different in the pictures. A neighboring apartment building has a direct view into the window, and the elevator is broken.

Parking space is right in front of the hotel. Small size morning buffet. Rooms are clean and quiet even though we have window facing the street. You have to come to the other hotel (200m away) to check in.

Staying on the third floor could create problems for the less mobile patrons as, per my room, the fire exit was through the fanlight and onto the roof where you would need to be extracted by the local fire brigade should there have been an internal fire. I have come across much worse during my extensive travels though.

The location of hotel is right in front of supermarket and near the downtown. Its also good location if you are heading to Düsseldorf or Roemond designer outlet. The non-person check in and parking were also good. Overally it’s worth to the price. One one downside is smell in a room, I guess it’s from cleaning chemical.

It is overall a very good hotel. My main gripes are: 1. The helpline is hard to use for non-German speakers, I couldn't get anywhere 2. Given it is an automated hotel, there is no staffed reception and hence no service to, for example, keep the luggage in the hotel for the last day after checkout. It would be nice if you could offer some means of self-service storage facility.

Check-in is automated, but it’s not difficult to figure out. Parking is free, but you need to place a card with the dates of your stay under the car windshield (it’s provided in the room). The room is not large, but it’s enough for spending one night. Everything is clean, and the beds have comfortable mattresses. The price-to-quality ratio is good.

Our room on the 7th floor was divided with a double door to the next room, so we can hear the people easily next door who stay there , they can make that as a family room for 4 people , noisy. Old fashion bathroom with a laying bath who made it dangerous to slide. No diner served in this hotel so you must leave it , and in the neighbourhood there is nothing. Recent renovations mean that the rooms are very fresh, spacious and clean. The restaurant is still Subject to some work, so windows are covered meaning you miss the nice view to the trees outside. Easy to walk to Zentrum area in less than 10 minutes. Some parking at rear of hotel but covered spaces are unusable due to the hotel refurbishment ongoing.
