This was a very unpleasant experience. Upon arrival, I found hair in the bed, which clearly shows that the room was not properly cleaned or inspected before being given to a guest. In addition, there was a bad, stale smell in the room, making it uncomfortable to stay there at all.
Cleanliness is the absolute minimum standard for any hotel, and this place failed completely in that regard. I do not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again unless serious improvements are made in housekeeping and hygiene control.

No complimentary water available at the room, no kettle and or coffee. Just a plain room. For a person who don't have a car, it is far away from the city. But it's okay if you just need to sleep there!

The floor wasn't cleaned. There were hairs on the bathroom fixtures. Very thin walls and therefore very noisy. The elevator didn't work. Check-in had to be done at another hotel, but this wasn't communicated beforehand, making everything very chaotic!
At check-in, we were told the breakfast buffet was available until 1 p.m., but that wasn't true!

The rooms are clean and tidy, but they look different in the pictures. A neighboring apartment building has a direct view into the window, and the elevator is broken.

Parking space is right in front of the hotel.

This is a good hotel for having a quiet stay. It does need a little more attention to details. Roo.s are clean.Some things do not work properly like bathroom lights and elevator. Breakfast was included in my booking. Basic but fresh and tasty breads cheese selection of cold cuts tomatose and cucumber. Boiled Eggs cereal and preserves and fresh juices. Coffee from machine.Would have loved to see some fruits. It has great potential.

...if I can recommend one hotel, it's another. After complaining, I stayed at the Elisenhof. The Elisenhof is the complete opposite of the Hotel Freiraum. Good rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast.!!!
