Where to stay in Dessau

Nice breakfast, elevators were not all working so had to wait at times.

Last minute booking whilst cycling through Germany. I had some anxiety about parking and storage of our bicycles. The hotel offers secure storage in their garage, anxiety sorted. Hotel was good with comfy beds and good service. Reasonably priced, would stop here again.

very convenient for me, great location. Con: parking situation is terrible! 15 Euro for damaged parking lot. Another Con: breakfast buffet 20 Euro for nothing. (Tip, go the next bakery and buy sandwich and coffee for under 10 Euro)

A special mention for Tobias who offered very good customer service as the Duty Manager. He was warm and friendly and tried his best to resolve issues. He organised a dinner booking at an external restaurant including the taxi booking.The curtains in the room were tatty and dirty. The water in the room was not replaced on our second day.Thank you.

The hotel is best located, 5 to 10 min walking distance from the main station, 10 min to the Bauhaus museum and 15 min to the Bauhaus building. The breakfast is super and serve continental food. The room are huge, clean and the service is good, friendly. Spa is included! The minus come from the repair status. I pay for 4 star Radisson Blu hotel and do expect higher frequency of modern up the hotel

Dessau was interesting. HOTEL: + STAFF + in the hotel, but not at breakfast BREAKFAST: Breakfast was totally overpriced at 19.90€, esp when you consider that the egg dishes, cheese and breads were limited. There were no croissants and salmon. In addition, bread often ran out, as well as the ham and not one staff member noticed. I could see that guests...

Very convenient location near restaurants and shops but very noisy at night. Front desk staff, when available, were very friendly and helpful. Our room was at the back of the hotel, nevertheless we were constantly awaken by loud music, people yelling in the streets, and car horns. Over three nights we barely slept at all. Brand new exercise room, cozy mattress and pillows, free drinks in fridge first day, poofy towels. Very musky ginseng body soap so bring your own. Charging outlet hard to access. Kinda hippie looking hotel. Not bad for the price.

Very nice and helpful receptionist, great big parking near to entrance near the accommodation. Good room with heating that works perfect. Perfect for a stopover travelling . Dogs have good space outside .

We stayed here for a night before a day trip to a nearby area, and the hotel was better than we expected. Parking is free, pets are only 7 euros per night, and breakfast is a reasonable 10 euros. The price was very reasonable, and the room was worth it. The front desk staff was friendly, and overall I was very satisfied. (Note: It's best to order breakfast, as there are no restaurants near the hotel...

The guest room and bathroom are updated with bright neutral color and lighting. Delicious breakfast in large dining area.

This was a pleasant place to stay. The master's houses of the Bauhaus movement are just across the street. I found that in Dessau this hotel is probably one of the nicer locations to connect to the Bauhaus feeling. The original Bauhaus building is within walking distance. Clean hotel at an excellent location in Dessau, right across the Bauhaus Master Houses. You have to walk up two sets of stairs, there is no elevator. If you want to book it ask for the FIRST floor (equivalent to the SECOND floor in the USA) The staff could have been more friendly and frankly were not quite accomodating when I asked some simple questions like "what time do the museums open in the morning...

The 7 Säulen is conveniently located opposite of the Meisterhäuser of Gropius, Kandinsky and Klee in a very quiet and green area of Dessau. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choices. They were however strict with their hours and we could not get a coffee after 10:00 in the morning. The staff was a bit low in friendliness and the service sometimes a bit rough. Great place to stay in Dessau! I love the quiet, safe and surroundings. Walkable, great shopping, lots of good restaurants etc.

Has everything you need. But for American standards it's missing AC. And a 24 hour vending machine would have been nice. But everything else is good.

The room was clean, the beds very soft 😅, the toilet was also clean, I wasn't so happy with the shower. In the morning, 7 a.m., you are woken up by the ringing of bells🥱 Parking fee 6 euros, half would do it too. All in all, with small drawbacks, recommendable. I think we'll be back 😊

In retrospect, I upgraded from 0 to 4 stars. Yes, the room is small (double bed), yes, there is no elevator, yes, the shower / toilet is in the hallway, but everything was clean (including TV remote control), there was enough parking space and everything was uncomplicated. I arrived around 1:30 a.m. after too long a shift, showered and slept well and was able to leave at 6 a.m. without any problems...

Nice building near the Elbe. I passed here on a walk. Looks nice and is close to the better known Kornhaus.

The Elbe Pavilion is located directly on the Elbe, not far from the Kornhaus, at the end of the Georgengarten. Prince Franz von Anhalt-Dessau had it built. It was used for flood protection. Today the pavilion can be rented for overnight stays and offers space for 2 people

Nice playground, nice environment, ideal for a bike break when you are traveling with children.

Lovely tower with interesting history. Just imagine those people watching the Elbe waters rising and flooding. Lovely woord area on several bike tracks through Dessau and its environments
