My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. The bathrooms and rooms were spotless and nice, much better than we got at similar rates in other guest houses I the region. The amenities were top notch and the staff very helpful through our stay when we came down sick and had to extend our stay a few nights they did everything they could to make us comfortable.

We went to the Golden Anchor for dinner as a family. We had made a reservation and received a very warm welcome. All four dishes were attractively presented and delicious. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The service was attentive and friendly. We would gladly return.

Excellent classic cuisine (asparagus, veal schnitzel, pike-perch fillet), prompt service, white tablecloths, cloth napkins – we once again felt completely at ease enjoying a delicious lunch at the Golden Anchor. We only stayed at the restaurant which is serving good local cuisine. All dishes were fresh and tasty. We especially like the large cauliflower with potatoes and sauce hollandaise. Service was friendly but could be more efficient. Also all tables were reserved though not always occupied. In the summer they also have a nice terrace.

Food in this establishment is tasty and deserves 5 stars. But the service is surly and rude. No concept of customer first. Beware, all tables are forever marked reserved despite the place being half empty. They could do with staff training. And then this will be the place to go.

During the COVIT-19 time the hotel was still a nice place to stay. The room had comfortable beds and a large and clean bathroom. In the room was still a TV for watching. I paid for breakfast but it was not available.

They had both hot breakfast(scrambled eggs,sausage and bacon) and various cold items prepared early in the morning. Room was fitted with a mini bar refrigerator and mini canisters of nuts for very reasonable prices. Coffee was delicious! Water pressure was excellent too.

Nice little hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast is plentiful and it is constantly being refilled. There are sufficient parking spaces and a chargeable charging station for e-cars. The dinner was also very good and reasonably priced.
