Great spot hidden in the German Countryside ! Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. I booked a room with King bed and in the request I asked for a room in a high level. I was given a room with two single beds and in the first floor directly on the main street. The toilet was not clean.

Food, as well as hospitality just great

We made a wonderful autumn hike in the Ehrental near Schmalkalden. My students give 999 stars in preparation and hospitality. Warm, nice, child-friendly ... awesome all the staff. We would love to come back. The deer were an additional highlight.

Typical European hotel without minibar or elevators. You have to schlepp the luggage up 2 stories yourself along a staircase without banisters! Apart from this staff was super helpful. Attached to the hotel is a Kroatien restaurant. The food was great. So was the breakfast for €18 for the 4 of us!

Familie hotel. Pool is not very clean but big. There is a safe guard present. It is a big hotel and to liitle staff. If you want to an order a drink you have to wait 30 min. because there are to may guest and not enough waiters. Perhaps nice for family with kids but not for business

Good old fashion East German hotel! It very easy to come and good for people with children. Resonoble prices. You can do different kinds of sports!

Highlight is the proximity of all there is to see. Our room did not have an AC. It was noisy outside until 11 pm. Service has friendly and breakfast was perfect and very assorted.

Not the best experience. Were part of a group. One couple in the group couldn't get a room after pre-booking as they double booked a room. Only after some negotiation did they offer a place in a sister hotel. Rooms are dirty. Location is good. Has Aircon NO KETTLE! Shower pressure is good, but the toilet is positioned so that it's awkward to sit on. There is a launderette round the corner, if needed

Just a one night stay while spending 24 hours in Eisenach, as part of a longer trip. The hotel is in a great location, close to the railway and bus stations, and just a 3 minute walk to the centre of Eisenach. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was excellent. Comfortable bed. Had a very tasty dinner at the hotel. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed one night at the Lutherhotel Eisenacher Hof. Our room was large, clean and the beds comfortable. Wifi worked well and parking was easy and free in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We ate dinner in the medieval themed restaurant. The atmosphere was excellent, however the food was so-so and the service was poor.

I was twice in the restaurant before coming in the hotel. The restaurant was famous. Now it is Covid time and thanks to be open. Rooms are fine. Food was good and the service very good. Very friendly service and they will try to accommodate your needs. We ordered some combinations of ingredients to get a meal for our kids and very much tried to get that on our table. Disadvantage is not being able to pay with cards and the closest atm is a 10 min drive by car.

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend and slept very well in its quiet location. However, this meant it was about a 20-minute walk to the city center, which didn't bother us. All the rooms were newly renovated, and the breakfast was excellent value for money. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Parking is available. If we ever visit Eisenach again, we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Klostergarten

Lovely hotel stop between Poland and Belgium. We chose it as it seemed to be picturesque with lots to see in Eisenach, but we didn't have time to see everything as we only had one night. I would have liked an extra day. The staff were nice and there was a nice 10 min walk up a hill with a lovely view.

Checking in was easy and the staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. The property itself seemed run down. Stairwells were a bit dirty and doors that said “always keep closed” were always open. Also the side entry door we used was never locked, so not sure if that’s a safety issue. The room is clean, there is free parking, and it is next to the highway. There are several buildings. You need to check in at the main building, and then check in at the buildings behind. It is quite friendly for self-driving tours!
