A very nicely decorated restaurant, super friendly and flexible staff. Although not reserved, we were served in a friendly and courteous manner in the restaurant. The food tasted great. A visit is highly recommended.

The house met our expectations. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The two-bedroom apartment offers a lot of space. The restaurant is of good quality. In my opinion, the house is well suited for hikers.

The beds are incredibly hard. I tossed and turned all night and was glad every morning when the night was over. Unfortunately, sleeping with the window open is also not possible, as the tranquility of the Thuringian Forest is interrupted by the exhaust system in the service wing. A simple guesthouse on the Rennsteig trail, but it offers everything a Rennsteig hiker needs. The only slight issue was getting food at the independent pizzeria on the ground floor, even though I had emailed the owner beforehand. It worked out in the end, though.

Great hotel. The rooms are quite small. Unfortunately, we didn't get an extra bed for our daughter. The bed also stretched out. The food was excellent. The pool was also fantastic. Review for the restaurant. The food was great and arrived fast, BUT some of the staff was intrusive. I felt constantly watched and, when we were discussing food choices with my partner, I noticed we were "sneakily" being gossiped and looked at by the waitress and the waiter. I had to tell the waitress that I felt uncomfortable being watched like that.

We arrived very early, but were able to get into our room right away which was much appreciated. Friendly staff. A large room and beautiful bathroom with both shower and tub. The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process. The rooms were all clean and kinda cozy, same as the bathrooms. What I didn't like was the keen of hearing of the dorms, as this could be kinda annoying. The breakfast was quite basic, but good as you just pay 6€ per breakfast...

Slept here on our way north. Clean room, but mattresses really not the best. Breakfast was over standard compared to what you can expect in this price class. We were positively surprised. Check in was smooth and a nice and helpful receptionist. Place is acceptable for a quick stop over!

We had reserved a table at 7:30 p.m. Thirty minutes later, we received drinks and a welcome from the kitchen. The main course arrived around 8:30 p.m. and neither looked nor tasted as expected. The staff were obviously overwhelmed, too. I had aspic with fried potatoes that had been reheated at least five times, and everything was covered in tartar sauce.

Great hotel in historic building with a modern interior make this worth visit. Superbly friendly staff and classic local cuisine in a nice setting make this hotel a truly nice expérience. The historic city center is just a short walk and rewards the visitor with ancient sights.

This hotel is not the most modern or fancy we have seen but it is clean, rooms are good, location is excellent, breakfast and bar very good and staff very accommodating - so what more do you need? We liked it and give our recommendations.

Clean and decent hotel, well situated with walking distance to town centre. Loved the little frozen lake that I could see from the window. Quiet town, visiting in February wasn’t the turist moment.

The bed, which you couldn't really call a bed, was a daybed with a thick mattress on top. It wobbled and slipped; two of my colleagues fell off it and landed on the floor. We had booked four single rooms, and in all of them, the towel rails were hanging loosely on the wall.

Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. We stayed from June 7th to June 12th, 2022. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and lovingly furnished. We immediately felt very comfortable. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and provided us with valuable tips regarding hiking trails and restaurants in Oberhof. The wonderful daily bread delivery service was an added bonus. We highly recommend this vacation apartment.

We stumbled upon this vacation rental by chance and didn't regret it for a minute during our stay. The landlady is very warm and accommodating. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked another week's winter vacation and are already looking forward to it.

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends. We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot.

In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

A very nice older hotel. We weren’t enthused by cleaning staff opening the door and walking in at 8am. The pillows also left a lot to be desired, but that just seems to be the status quo for Germany. Beyond this the hotel facilities were pretty expansive: steak house, sports bar, bowling etc. a short stroll from town. The rooms were a little older but well furnished as were the bathrooms.

Schön eingerichtet, Ambiente war schön auch im kleinen Frühstücksraum. Frühstück war einfach gehalten aber es war für uns alles da und wir sind glücklich und satt geworden :) Wir konnten direkt vorm Hotel einen Parkplatz ergattern, auf einem Streifen was aber nicht direkt zum Hotel gehört. Der Geräuschpegel war niedrig, unser Zimmer lag hinten raus. Wirklich sehr nettes Personal :) wir würden wiederkommen

Smaller Hotel in Meiningen, very quiet. Affordable Room Prices. Little free Parking in front of the door. Zi are functionally furnished and clean. The beds are good. Breakfast is sufficient and good. Service is very friendly. Hotel is suitable for transit or a few days.

Great. Will come back and stay later.

A modern building a short walk from the railway station and the centre of town znd the justly famous opera house (Stadtstheater Meiningen). Clean and quiet the location is ideal and with breakfast great value for money.

Very neat rooms, a king's bath. There is no criticism. A very comfortable bed. Quiet room and a large TV. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy breakfast because I had to leave at 7 a.m. But if I should stay overnight in Meiningen again, then only in the Hotel Kaiserpark

Also highly recommended for those arriving by train. Within walking distance, including the city center. Very nice staff, especially the very nice breakfast fairy, who has absolutely everything under control. Newly renovated rooms.

The staff is just super nice, courteous and open to all wishes and very animal-loving. The rooms are great and everything is clean and kept clean too. We have been there several times and always very satisfied. The location is great, there is plenty of parking space. The breakfast is simply super and rich, is always refilled by the dear Ms. Abt😃👍
