Spacious and clean room and toilet.

First and foremost, I liked the hotel and I WOULD stay again. It's a large hotel with a convenient basement car park. The Room and parts of the hotel were stylish and well furnished. The Restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was very good. Some bacon and lighter savouries e.g. croissants would have been welcomed. A larger duvet would have been helpful (in winter). The internet was terrible. Non-existent...

Buffet dinner versus served dinner Buffet dinner was not at same level than served dinner. No possibilities to choose for example a fish.

Ilmenau 25 Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it.

We booked like 10 double-bed rooms at the Hotel Ilmenauer Hof. So the reservation and cancellation of the room numbers were smooth as well as the check-in and check-out process. The rooms were all clean and kinda cozy, same as the bathrooms. What I didn't like was the keen of hearing of the dorms, as this could be kinda annoying. The breakfast was quite basic, but good as you just pay 6€ per breakfast...

The room was clean but it was bit cold. There was not so many options in breakfast. No vegetarian or halal food. Otherwise, it was very much up to the stanard.

Slept here on our way north. Clean room, but mattresses really not the best. Breakfast was over standard compared to what you can expect in this price class. We were positively surprised. Check in was smooth and a nice and helpful receptionist. Place is acceptable for a quick stop over!

I appreciated reasonable price, location at walking distance to town center, clean rooms and friendly personnel.

The Hotel is placed in the forest just outside of Ilmenau, Germany, on a private country road. Our initial view of the Hotel was from the side as this is how the road enters the property. Modern rooms with very comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms with good water pressure. (we were on the top floor) Beautiful classic style building with antique style dining room. Both breakfast and dinner were exquisite. (we did not use their lunch option) Spa is top class, and the swimming pool one of the best I’ve seen. Not very deep but clean natural water. Great hotel with great location! Located inside the forest about 2km from Ilmenau. Good breakfast. Wellness available in house. The view is great!
