Hotel Pontos in Sarti

We arrived at the hotel on September 23rd. Our first impression was very good, until an incident occurred the next day. In the morning, I asked the cleaning lady to come later since we have a one-month-old baby who was sleeping. She responded affirmatively. Later, we went to the beach, and when we returned, we saw that the room had been "cleaned"; only the trash had been removed and one towel had been replaced. I approached the receptionist and asked to mop the floor since we had a baby, to which she replied that our room had been cleaned. I offered to go with her and show her how they had cleaned ours, but she refused, saying I was being too negative. Ultimately, they came around 8pm to clean, saying that our room had already been cleaned, that I wasn't a special guest, and they didn't owe me anything. It's a shame that such a nice hotel is being ruined by such unprofessional people. My advice for the future: if you plan to stay here, think twice.

26.09 So, our stay at this "wonderful" hotel is over.
During our four-day stay, our room wasn't cleaned once.
After an incident on the second day, they simply ignored us and said we always had a do-not-disturb sign on the door (but I know for a fact that we hung a sign asking for cleaning when we went out for lunch and for a walk).
That evening, I approached the cleaning staff to ask them to clean the room. They called the woman from reception and started showing me photos on their phones of us supposedly having a red sign on the door (but I know for a fact that we hung a sign asking for cleaning). After all this, they were rude to me and told me I should keep quiet and had no right to say anything, that no one would clean our room since the staff was off duty. Let me remind you that we were vacationing with a month-old baby and simply wanted our room cleaned. In short, we paid for the room, but we didn't find it clean.
The mood was ruined.

Good for short stays.The rooms were pretty clean. Cleaning lady smiles and salutes when passed by (really swwet). The window was blocked by the showerhead so the bathroom was suffocating. There’s a literal swamp near the hotel with a swarm of mosquitos to accompany it. Bed wasn’t ever changed in 7 nights. Also there was a receptionist that screamed in public at some tourists that wouldn’t pass their sunbeds at the pool to some greek girls that tried to steal from them?? Idk really wired. Unprofessional too. I saw her being mean to people coming from other countries a couple times since I always stayed at the pool a bunch.they souldn’t hire racist staff in my opinion. Also the pool stank. But other than that great hotel

We booked this hotel based on the beautiful photos on Booking — unfortunately, reality had very little to do with them. Upon arrival, we honestly thought we had made a mistake, as the exterior looked nothing like the images advertised.

To be fair, the rooms were clean and decent, but that’s where the positive notes stop. The outdoor area was disappointing, the pool looked like it came from another century, and we even witnessed children jumping in with socks.

The management was, let’s say, a very “unique” experience. The owner seemed constantly irritated, treating even the simplest requests — like asking for some ice — as if they were personal insults. Politeness and hospitality are clearly not part of the training here. At the same time, the receptionist was doing her best, kind and professional, but it was hard to shine under such… “leadership”.

Overall, it felt more like a comedy than a holiday. If you enjoy being treated with rudeness, outdated facilities, and a misleading presentation, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I booked a couple of months ago, i payed a deposit and when we arrived at the hotel they said our reservation seems canceled and they do not have any room available anymore. We did not cancel anything, we arrived after 15hours driving, tired and just wanted a room. I proposed them to give me the deposit back and search a room in another hotel but same criteria i was looking for. Was full season and lower chances to find something at 7pm. We were 4 persons and wanted two rooms. They found 2 cheaper hotels, one with 4 beds in one room and one with a very low rate, we refused , choosed one which was 250 euros more and expected for them to cover the difference. The lady from reception started to yell she kept saying she is too busy and doesnt have time for this, like was my fault everything happened. We just wanted our rooms, or any other room but not to make fun of us with their choices. I have all proofs and recording of lady yelling and screaming and i will claim and fill a report to authorities. They dont have any respect for clients.

It needs urgently renovation. Also, there is an elos beside the hotel, and the mosquitos are everywhere. When we entered the room, the mosquitos were on the bed, on cupboard everywhere. The owner either had to do more times disinsection or had to drainage the elos with the help of municipality. My husband almost got an allergy shock, fortunately we left.
