Frosch Sportreisen Hotel Sarti Beach. Budget experience without the budget price.
Firstly some praise for the staff who mostly did an excellent and enthusiastic job in less than ideal circumstances.
The room: We were happy that the mosquito netting was intact but it was a little annoying that we had to open the cistern in order to flush the toilet and the shower head was falling off the wall, the shower taps were not fixed to the wall properly in the first place and the wardrobe doors were stuck.
Meals: Mealtimes were short (breakfast and dinner available only within a 1.5 hr window. The half board dinners did not include any drinks, not even water, and at 5€ for a small can of non-alcoholic beer we felt we were being ripped off! After dinner there was a (tedious) announcement by seemingly every staff member before the dessert “buffet” opened. I say “buffet” but there was only one dessert on offer each day. Generally the food was good but very limited.
Sports: Mountain bikes and some fitness classes and that’s about it. The bikes were low-end but well maintained and good enough for a roadie like me. But the watersports opportunities were very poor: Limited windsurfing kit, sit-on-top plastic kayaks which were not allowed out of sight of the beach and some SUP boards, all through an external company who supposedly had special Frosch prices. On a positive note, we did find the ski-boat driver to be a very good teacher, but at 60€ for a 25 minute lesson, it wasn’t something we could do often.
Generally the hotel and grounds were tired and scruffy. WIFI didn’t work.
I feel we had a pretty good holiday despite Frosch rather than because of them and we won’t be using them again.

Roach infested hell hole.Avoid at all costs

Every corner of the room was filled with spider webbings. Dirty and smelly. Paid for internet for nothing. I wasnt able to connect throughout the whole time i spent there. The toilet was clogged. I won't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
