We stayed for 6 nights at Theoxenia Hotel in Mykonos with our two babies (3 months and 2 years old). At first, we were nervous about traveling with two little ones, but the staff completely exceeded our expectations and made all the difference.

From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly thoughtful — always offering little treats, playing with our toddler to give us some free time, and going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Their kindness and attention truly felt like 7-star service.

The hotel itself is beautiful: extremely clean, with amazing amenities, spacious rooms, a great breakfast, and a lovely pool. No matter where you are in the hotel, there is always a staff member ready to assist with a smile. I also enjoyed fantastic spa treatments during our stay.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This was one of our most memorable trips thanks to the team at Theoxenia. We will definitely be coming back!

Everything about this place is perfect! The pool, the breakfast buffet, the location etc. Make sure to catch a sunset here at there sunset lounge. They offer pick up and drop off at the port and have a transport company if you need a ride anywhere (within 30min notice). Staff were super helpful, truly went above and beyond and provided exceptional service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a full service Mykonos experience :)

This spot is perfectly located within walking distance to old town Mykonos. I personally like that there was separation between the resort, and the party vibes in the old town area.

The hotel has a really nice calm, mellow vibe, so it was nice to have a place to go back to to reset. We were in the oceanview rooms, which give you prime sunsets.

The design feels very hip, and has a great 1960s mid-century vibe. It’s got a Palm Springs vibe but on the Mediterranean.

The coolest thing about this resort was the people. The host was very helpful upon arrival, and the people that work breakfast and Pool Service were so incredibly sweet. On our last day, it was my 40th birthday, and they brought the breakfast to my room, and brought me a birthday cake with a candle. It was such a nice touch, and made our stay.

I’ll only want to stay here moving forward.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mykonos Theoxenia Hotel. We stayed there to celebrate my birthday. The hotel provided a free airport transfer. Upon arrival we were offered glasses of champagne and a very warm welcome. The receptionist (Nelly) saw our last name and started speaking fluent German! The lovely blonde lady introduced us to the island and the sights and then showed us to our room. We had a room with an ocean view and were pleasantly surprised to find a plate of fruit, water and wine in the room! Breakfast was served in the outdoor area of the restaurant and was quite good. It lived up to my high expectations. Service was impeccable - anything we needed, we got fast with a level of authenticity not common. The room was spacious and clean as I expected. The gym was rather mediocre, but that was not really what I was looking for. Location could not be beat for me.

We have had such a great experience at Theoxenia Hotel than we are already looking forward to come back next year!

First of all the hotel itself it’s awesome, it is located at the entrance of the town just behind the windmills but perfectly built into the landscape that you can barely see it from the outside and once you are inside it’s like walking in an open space and extremely quiet.

It’s also the perfect place if you are a pet lover because the property hosts 26 cats, they are very discreet but you could spot them under the bougainvillea bushes.
Bedrooms are beautifully designed, spacious, extremely clean and provided with cozy details but the “wow factor” is the sea-front balcony, which is literally 2 meters upon the sea and you can listen to the waves lying in your bed.

We hadn’t the chance to have dinner to the restaurant but breakfast is generous and delicious with first quality ingredients and all the staff is friendly and professional; we want especially thanks the lovely concierge Maria for her kindness :-)

I can say it’s my favorite place to stay in in Mykonos. The service was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is great just few minutes from the town.

I have stayed in many places in Mykonos and I would not stay here again. This hotel is at best a 3 star hotel. If you are looking exclusively for location, I would say this is pretty prime real estate, but if you are looking for a luxury 5 star hotel, this is NOT it. The rooms were extremely small and ours in room 213 had a horrible sewage smell coming from the shower closet (yes, closet) that was so nauseating we could hardly stand to shower. The staff were very unhelpful - I am pregnant and when asking the pool attendant if he could make up the day bed with towels for us, he simply said “no we don’t do that.” The gym was one of two workout machines and a few free weights and the spa was laughable. I have no idea how this hotel has been given 5 stars… the only only only positive was the location, which is right in town. I recommend Santa Marina and Aeonic Suites which are beautiful options just outside of town with gorgeous rooms and true 5 star service!!
