Reviews
The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully designed with that iconic Cycladic charm, spotless rooms, and incredible attention to detail. The views over Mykonos Town were simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The location is ideal: just a few minutes’ walk to Little Venice, the windmills, and some of the best restaurants and nightlife on the island, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private.
Transportation was seamless — the complimentary transfers from the airport and to the port made everything so easy, and the ability to park our rental car right at the hotel was such a bonus.
As a gay couple visiting from the US, we felt completely celebrated and comfortable here. The vibe is wonderfully inclusive, and it was amazing to be surrounded by so many other incredible gay travelers — it added to the sense of community and fun that made our stay so memorable.
Breakfast each morning was exceptional — fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. The pool and bar area became one of our favorite spots to relax, with cocktails that were just as good as the view.
We truly felt celebrated here, and the entire team made our honeymoon feel extra special. Rochari Hotel is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience that captures the magic of Mykonos. We are already dreaming about coming back!
One major highlight is the daily breakfast which goes until 11am. It’s definitely a cut above the typical hotel breakfast with a large variety of offerings.
The beds are particularly comfortable which is always a big plus when away from home and if you can secure a room with a view, it’s worth the little bit extra.
The Rochari is a family-run business that’s been operating since the 1970s so they really know how to make a stay pleasant for their guests.
Thank you to owner/manager Stavroula and her wonderful staff for a great stay in Mykonos.
The staff were simply extraordinary — welcoming, helpful, friendly, and offering brilliant service at every turn. They made us feel at home the moment we arrived.
The location is unbeatable — perfectly walkable to the Old Town of Mykonos, yet private enough to feel exclusive and serene. The hotel also arranged private transport from the port and airport, as well as transfers to the island’s famous beach clubs — absolutely seamless and stress-free.
Hotel Rochari is more than a stay; it’s an experience of pure luxury and joy. We can’t wait to come back — it’s easily one of the best hotels in Mykonos, if not the world!
Do you want me to make a shorter, Instagram-style version with emojis and hashtags too?
We stayed for 4 nights. While customer service was great and the food was decent, the room was small with a shared backyard, offering no privacy. As soon as we opened the curtains, people could see directly in.
The room wasn’t properly prepared — the fridge was empty, and items like snacks and champagne were added days later. There was no iron, even though it was listed as included, and toiletries were minimal — one tiny bottle of each item for two people per day.
We also experienced two power outages in our room and had to go to reception both times to fix it.
Overall, not what you’d expect for the price or listing.
