What a great week away for October half term! Just spent a glorious week at Sentido Apollo Palace, Corfu. Perfect autumn break in Lapland. We stayed in Kairala Airbnb for three nights. It is located along the banks of Kitinen river. We had Day trips to Pyhätunturi and Kivitunturi. The scenerys there were breathtaking. Kairala airbnb is a full equipped house with two saunas, electric sauna in the house and separate sauna by the river.

The room we were given was not suitable because of the many steps, so Andriana and the rest of the reception team were able to change our room to one in the main block with a lift!!! Nothing too much trouble and there is even a buggy service to get around!!! Ideal for us.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Mythos Palace. We had a great time, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Eleni was absolutely amazing, not only a beautiful human she looked after us so well. This hotel has an amazing position and provides free sunbeds on the beach for guests with wonderful waiter service. Even in August there was plenty of space available! What really makes this hotel are the family that run it! So friendly and helpful. It feels authentically Greek. Apartment was really lovely and spacious.

The location on the beach is good. Our room was extremely dated (one at the back) and the balcony/terrace was unpleasant and not a nice place to sit at the end of the day. The air con unit vented directly into it at floor level. This is probably a very good place to stay if you have one of the beachfront rooms, but if you don't - it's not.

If you want an Old Fashioned ask for Dimitris. He make the best Old Fashioned in the whole of messonghi, no other bar comes close.

We spent a week at this hotel and we can say it was a great experience. The prices are really affordable and the services offered are great. The rooms are small and simple, equipped with a small kitchen where you can find the cutlery you need in order to prepare some basic meals. The pool was extremely clean and the sunbeds were comfortable. You only need to walk 1/2 minutes in order to reach the beach

I stayed here back in July and it's a lovely place to stay! The rooms are a little outdated and a little unclean but they have everything you need. There is air con, a kettle, a fridge and a tiny freezer which we're all very handy as the booking.com description didn't mention any of these. So it's good to know they are there.
