I've just had a lovely stay there. The location is peaceful with nice views. Handy for tavernas/bars in Elies. A bus stop nearby. A short walk will take you to Linaria beach (more nice tavernas and a fab view). Nikos, the host cannot do enough for you. Great value for money!!!

While the rooms are somewhat sparse and the beds not among the softest we have tried, the owners and staff are the sweetest and kindest. Breakfast is simple but very nice and rooms, pool area and restaurant are neat and clean. We went for a Discover Scuba Diving offer and had a fantastic time thanks to the competent and patient instructors and the hotel staff. Highly recommend.

The owners of Mary Popi made my stay absolutely amazing. I injured my foot towards the end of my stay and Giorgios helped me get to the hospital, brought me food and was so very caring. They are there for whatever you need and are so welcoming. Thank you so much Giorgos and Mary Popi!!!!

I stayed there for two weeks with my husband and two sons. Good value for money, very friendly hosts, beautiful views and the swimming pool make it a place worth visiting. Platis gialos beach is 5 mins walk, a big shop 15 mins, but a car is definitely a necessity.

Very beautiful and cozy place with the view of the sea, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minute drive to the center of the village with restaurants and a supermarket. Most important - a true welcoming atmosphere with traditional Greek generosity, kindness and charm! We will recommend it to all our friends and definitely come back ourselves. a convenient spot close to a supermarket and the town of Massouri is only a 10 minute scooter ride. All the facilities worked

Had an amazing stay at the climbing house! And definitely will be back. Stefanos and his wife are very warm and kind hosts. Wonderful studios and probably the best accommodation on the island. Highly recommend to rent out scooters or a car from Stefanos, contact him ahead of time for a possible transfer from the Port to the studio when you arrive and depart.

Gave us a great price for the bikes and the room, picked us up from the port, was si helpful. Also you are close to the main supermarket so you can stock up every morning. Definitely will come back

Simple island style living, with beautiful pool area with lots of green surroundings and a friendly staff that are always willing to help. Also, the rooms are cleaned daily, which is in my opinion the most important thing one can ask for when living someplace that isn't home. Breakfast is local flavors (thyme honey, local vegetables, pastries, etc.) so it's recommended if you are a breakfast person...

This hotel is quite descent, even for 3 stars hotel(rust bathroom equipment must be replaced in room 106 and there’re some problem with toilet flushing). Samely breakfast,instant coffee…But all staff is amazing-attentive and welcoming,ready to solve any issue. The rooms and tourist compound are cleaned up daily.I recommend this hotel for a budget trip.

A good hotel with Breakfast, Pool and nice Personal. The hotel room is spacious. The beds weren't so good. They are old spring beds and not comfortable (for me and a friend). Furthermore the fridge was off. On the location you need about 7 min to a small beach and across from the hotel there is a little supermarket.

Villa Melina is located pretty „close“ to the center, basically maybe 5 mins walk. The Villa itself is wonderful and reminds you more of Italy then Greece. There is a huge pool where you can swim at any time. Many cats that steal your food and attention haha. Also great breakfast! Worth its money! The only problem we had was the mattress. Pretty hard to sleep on, but that’s maybe a individual problem

Beautiful small hotel in a unique old villa. Make sure the room is fully renovated cause not all of the bathrooms were renovated. We had a little issue with the pool and the level of chlorine in it, but all in all we had a wonderful time and the owners were very nice.

It feels like a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly. It was located in a quiet part of the town and only a 5/10 minute stroll from the harbour front. Villa Melina has many rooms of all kinds spread over the entire area of the building and around the pool. The villa itself is very beautiful. And the price is reasonable for what you get. But it is far from the center and you have to walk a little on the slope to the center and back uphill. We liked the old building and we also liked the outdated room, although it has apparently undergone renovation...

It was quite noisy in the morning when some of the locals popped into the pool bar as they sat chatting. In typical greek style they got louder and louder, waving arms around etc. There aren’t any tavernas or supermarkets nearby...

Comfortable but very very dated. It appeared to be stuck in the 70's//80's. The whole place needs a revamp. The foyer area had loads of sofas and chairs. But again very dated. The shops were all closed every day with the exception of the spa. The top corridor stank very badly of cat urine. The grouting and steps in the pool were covered in black mould and despite being assured it would be cleaned...

We loved our stay at the resort, but let me first mention what we didn't like. The cappuccino costs 4.5 euros. The kids' program is in German. Why? I don't get it. I'm not German. German is not the world's number one language. Nobody cares about Germany, except this hotel, as there are many Germans here. The hotel was great value for money. We stayed in one of the windmills. Lots of food and drink available on 'all inclusive'. However, you have to pay 3 euro per bed for loungers on the beach which feels ridiculous when you've already paid for your stay! You also have to pay extra if you want to use the games room.

We have stayed here for a week during our holiday at Leros. The room was big enough, simply furnished, similar to other hotels in Greece. It is quite close to a fairly busy road so we could hear the passing cars during the night. The food was OK but not great. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. This is a clean, cozy and fabulous hotel, tucked away on a hilltop with unique views - price compared to what you get is negligible. It has all the amenities with friendly staff- Ahmed is truly great - bravo- he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and was there anytime we needed anything. I recommend this place over any other in the area.

Maybe next year I'll give it a 5 out of 5.

One of the nicest vacations we've had! The hospitality of Mr. Giorgos and Mrs. Vanda was amazing! Paradise! Stayed here for 6 days, not a single problem or worry. Place is clean and up to international standards. Owner went to Swiss hotel school. Place is quiet, has a simple elegance, and a special atmosphere. If you want AC go for the Blue Room (room Nr 4). It’s an experience to be able to stay in such a historic and beautiful house like this. The vibes of this gorgeous mansion transfer you to a different era. Quite nice environment very nice garden. We loved that every day a minivan came outside the hotel door and we bought fresh bread. On foot it is about 7 minutes from the beach and from the taverns, fortunately because it is less crowded. The taverns had nice food and relatively cheap. We thank Michalis for everything

I love this place. Normally downstairs where the rooms are very traditional and homely, this year upstairs! Wow the view! The rooms have new front doors and french windows as well as new bathroom, but it still has so much character. Looks beautiful on the outside but our room 124 was dark and dreary. It was right at the back overlooking an allotment, a wood storage area, a big grey new building blocking any sea view and worse of a a chicken coop with some very noisy cockerels that woke us up at 5:00am every morning! Bathroom was extremely dated and shower was very hit and miss ! Very often lacked water pressure and also very cold...

The moment we came in to the hotel Katerina was so helpfull with everything. She gave us information about the island and what we can do. The room was clean and well maintained👍 we had hired a scooter so the location wasnt so important. I would reccomend👍

Just returned from a 2 weeks stay. We had a studio afacing the pool/bar. The room was of a decent size and equipped to make a basic meal with a 2 ring cooker/sandwich toaster/kettle/coffee maker. It's a bit of a tight squeeze in the bathroom though. Air con was 5 euro per night but worth it as it was exceptionally hot. Rooms were kept clean, and towels and bedding changed regularly by our lovely cleaning...

Excellent stay. Clean and tidy with basic facilities in my room. I overlooked the pool, but could also see the castle. Friendly staff and lovely pool area. The hotel is a walk from the nearest beach/restaurants/supermarkets, so you may want to bear this in mind if you have any mobility issues and don't want to rent a car.

Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. If you didn't want to participate you could go to the second bar near the beach which was really quite and nice to talk.

We enjoy the hotel very much, the people are nice and the Food is pleanty. The beach is beautiful but when its too Windy there is not enough space for everyone at the pools and the drinks that are AI are not really tasty because they Taste very chemical.

The Hotel is Amazing. They clean up your room, the food is fantastic, the beds are comfortable and everything looks great. I'd really recommend going there.

The breakfast was amazing! The pools and the beach (wavy) are wonderful as well we lived in 2 different rooms but those did not look like in the pictures. If you want to go around you need to have a car or motorbike there is nothing around really. .

Loved it! Not too big, not overcrowded. Two times Beachvolleyball per day. Great selection at breakfast and lunch. I especially loved the local coffee prep with hot sand! Best vacation so far!

Best 5-star value on a beautiful island with super friendly staff. You’d pay a fortune in other parts of Europe for what you get here. Every pool was awesome, plus the private beach access. Great for families. Big breakfast selection. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location, well maintained resort exteriors (although some more shade/trees would always be welcome). Cool restaurants! The rooms are a disappointment. Definitely not at 5 star level, more a 3+ or at best a 4 star rating. Recreation pure - sea - sports - or what ever you like! good restaurants for lunch and dinner. Virus prevention is present in the background and absolutely not disturbing! The hotel is remembering guests even after 5 years! I like to walk the long beach every day (multiple km !), take a bath in the sea to cool down .....

Perfect for families with children. The staff is outstanding and very responsive to answer any questions you might have. They are quick in responding to your emails. It's a little bit of a walk to the beach. Every complex has their own little pool in addition to the super size pool in the middle of the complex.

Third visit back to the Gaia Palace. Lovely stay yet again. Staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly throughout our visit. We stayed in a superior double room which was excellent. The beautiful sandy beach with bar and toilets is a short walk with free sun beds for Gaia Palace guests.Not much locally around if you like a walk round a resort but a bus or short taxi ride into either Mastichari...

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Nikos. The food was delicious and varied, with four different themed evenings. The hotel is beautiful and clean, with great pools and plenty of space – it never feels crowded. I can only recommend this very nice hotel. Everything is perfect and it was worth every penny for this fantastic holiday. The nice and sandy beach is not too far away, about seven minutes to walk. Lovely clean hotel. We went all-inclusive so had a good selection of food and drinks. Plenty of sunbeds and pools so it never looked busy. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday I would recommend staying here.

The Gaia Palace is a lovely hotel one of three sister hotels in the same area, although we only went into the grounds of the other two, the Palace appeared to be the best, the grounds at the Palace are very nice and well kept. The public areas of the hotel are kept very clean. As we stayed towards the end of the season, the staff had really started to reduce, leaving two young people covering reception...
