The staff were friendly cleaning staff went out of her way to help We were there in late October and it was hot and the AC didn't work thick hot covers it would have been nice to know that they closed the pool in Setember

Nice hotel! It can be a bit confusing to find at first, there is an open air market on the street right in front. Parking is on the street and is limited.

No parking The only disappointment was no off premises parking as advertised.

open although the website clearly says it would open on 15th May. If the hotel had contacted us to advise us of this we would have booked another hotel as it was we were left with no choice. We stayed at this wonderful hotel for one night during our honeymoon and immediately regretted not booking more nights! The hotel is located in a stunning, peaceful area surrounded by mountains and olive trees a beautiful place. To our surprise and delight, the staff upgraded us to a beautiful suite with a private pool as a honeymoon gift such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special...

We booked 100 rizes for 3 nights for our anniversary. The place is magical, the rooms the same. The view and this amazing beach are something I’ll remember all year long. It is a place I’d absolutely consider revisiting despite their breakfast which to me was way below expectations (the coffee was quite average and the pies were pre-made and not homemade which is what I’m used to from Top Mani hotels...

An outstanding hotel that we will be gladly visiting again soon! The most striking feature is the sandy beach that leads into a calm at all times sea with crystal clear waters. The food is exceptional and the drinks are too! If you are looking for a place to relax, be close to the nature, enjoy the sea and eat well, look no further.

This review is a bit late, as we visited late May. It wasn't a terrible stay; the staff were generally pleasant, the location is lovely, the bed comfortable, but, at least at the time we were there, this property needed some work. The devil was in the details- no one asked to help us with luggage, despite lots of stairs and lots of staff around. The beach chairs were a mess and badly needed replacement...

Had a wonderful relaxing stay. Rooms are delightful. Marked down from 5 as we had a noisy fridge in the room that rattled all night, turned it off, but still!. We enjoyed a coffee by the pool, since it was windy to go to the beach. Pool is calm and nice to use, staff very polite and the club sandwich was great, pricesare fair. Overall, really positive experience here!

Charming and absolutely wonderful little resort. The resort was beautiful and had a very intimate, local charm. The staff exhibited an exceptional level of care. I am already looking forward to booking my next trip and staying with Thirides again.

What else do you want? What a lovely place! Pool and beach across the road, 5 minute from Gythio town. You can't go wrong. Only the silly narrow roads to get here as well as the very dusty beach road dissapoints but does not reflect on this fine beautiful place to stay. Can easily stay next time for two whole weeks!

Alistos is a beautiful hotel nearby Gytheio and in a great location to explore Mani while being in a serene location by the nature. I highly recommend it especially if you are looking for some quite time and relaxation. The rooms and service is great and I really hope to visit again soon!!

Excellent place to stay, very friendly staff. The architecture is amazing, at the top of a hill full of olive trees. The breakfast is everything you need to keep you going & the restaurant offers very tasty dishes.

Amazing and spectacular gem in the middle of the Peloponnesus. A gorgeous hotel surrounded by nature and with sea views ... the room was the best I'd ever been to, breakfast and dinner at the hotel were simply spectacular, the family owning the hotel are very nice, and the beaches and surroundings are incredible and without tourist. Extremely happy to have found this hotel! Family owned and managed with care to all the details the host needs. Beautiful location and premises, everything furnished with taste and comfort. Amazing hotel! We had a warm welcome, a beautiful room with lovely balcony and super comfy beds. The beach area is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Service was attentive, though not always proactive. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Very friendly staff, large room with comfortable bed, good and extensive breakfast, relaxing environment and a good large beach. The hotel provides with sunbeds and beach towels. There is also a pool with a bar next to it.

The beach was wonderful- always able to access loungers. The hotel is kept nicely but would benefit from more dining options, variety of foods. I agree with a previous review- one key card per room is not feasible when traveling with a family and the card controls electricity within your unit.

Quiet hotel, extremely spacious rooms (we had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room); very clean. Wonderful hospitable people at the reception and at breakfast and bar. The location is great if you want to be close to the little city of Gytheio but enjoy the quieter outskirts.

Beautiful very close beach. Padded lounges, beanbags, umbrellas, drinks/ food on the beach made it very enjoyable for 4 seniors. Nice rooms with adequate space. Staff are amazing! Lots of steps if not in one of the ground level rooms. No pool but we didn’t miss it. Very hot weather with almost constant breezes kept it nice.

A decent clean hotel. Large airconditioned rooms with a small kitchen. Quite good beds. The rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed also daily even if you don't place them on the floor. There is a pool but never been there. The Vathy beach is just 2 mins walk. WiFi available.
