Alistos Hotel in Gythio

Alistos is a beautiful hotel nearby Gytheio and in a great location to explore Mani while being in a serene location by the nature. I highly recommend it especially if you are looking for some quite time and relaxation. The rooms and service is great and I really hope to visit again soon!!

Today is our last day at Alistos Hotel and I wish i could stay longer. The hotel is perfectly situated on top of a mountain in Raxi, with breathtaking, panoramic views of the Mani region. The sounds of nature are both relaxing and peaceful. The fresh air is heavenly. The family run hotel is combined of Antigoni and Pierre. Two beautiful souls who will meet and greet you with a warm smile and ensure that your stay with them will be memorable. Don’t forget to say hello to beautiful Lola, who is in charge of security and will make you feel as safe as can be. The hotel architecture is fantastic incorporating traditional regional values with a modern twist. The rooms are extremely generous in size with comfortable beds. Enjoy a serene experience by the pool, as its location is absolutely perfect. The menu and food selections are traditional, simple and delicious. More importantly you will forget your troubles for a brief period while staring into the beautiful sky and mountain region. And if you would like to venture into the city or surrounding beaches, they are all within minutes by car. You will not regret selecting this place for your vacation.

Excellent place to stay, very friendly staff. The architecture is amazing, at the top of a hill full of olive trees. The breakfast is everything you need to keep you going & the restaurant offers very tasty dishes.

Amazing and spectacular gem in the middle of the Peloponnesus. A gorgeous hotel surrounded by nature and with sea views ... the room was the best I'd ever been to, breakfast and dinner at the hotel were simply spectacular, the family owning the hotel are very nice, and the beaches and surroundings are incredible and without tourist. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. We will return for sure. Many thanks!

Extremely happy to have found this hotel! Family owned and managed with care to all the details the host needs. Beautiful location and premises, everything furnished with taste and comfort. Super tasty local product based breakfast. We’ve stayed for a dinner in the evening as well, and it was superb, just like everything else in this hotel. We’ll certainly come back on our next trip to Peloponnese.

Our trip to Greece was highlighted by the surprise at the top of a hill, up a little one lane country road. We were impressed with the greeting at the front gate to the rooms cleanliness, colors, decor, layout and views to the fantastic dining to our departure. It was truly a great experience.
Our tour group wished we could have stayed longer then just 2 nights!
