Hotel Benois in Galissas

This charming hotel exceeded all of our expectations. As mentioned in many other reviews, the staff were always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious and very clean. The location was also perfect, only a two minute walk to Galissas beach, one of the best beaches on the entire island. The pool area was also perfect, there were always enough sun loungers available and the pool was a nice size even with the many children who enjoyed it. We were here as a couple but many families were here with their children. We feel like this hotel is a great option for both couples and families. There is also an optional shutter service from the hotel which takes guests directly to and from the port.

However the true star of the show was the hotel’s restaurant. We tried several other tavernas within walking distance of the hotel and by the end of the week we only ate at the hotel restaurant. Nothing could beat the quality and fair prices. The restaurant has many dishes to offer, so many that we weren’t tired of the restaurant after eating lunch and dinner there for almost a week. The dishes were wonderfully prepared and we also enjoyed the option to charge our meals to our room as hotel guests. It just made our entire stay so relaxing to go from our room to the pool and then to the restaurant without having to leave the premises.

Beautiful place to stay, would definitely return. Professional, warm and friendly staff. Incredible food and drinks. Prime location next to the beach. It’s a secluded area with the perfect amount of places to eat near by and next door to a grocery store.

Beautiful small family hotel in an unspoilt corner of Syros. Truly wonderful accommodation, sparkling clean pool, excellent food and drinks.
The people here make all of the above even more special. Genuinely loved every day here and would recommend for anyone to experience a slice of Greek heaven, go to Syros and use this hotel for a a luxury base and place to relax. Thank you all of you. 🥰

The hotel was amazing. The food is incredible, the persons were very kind and the room + swimming pool just perfect!! We could have stayed only at the hotel and not see other places 🤣 thank you!

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location in Galissas, just a two-minute walk from an organised beach. The food, atmosphere, and customer service were exceptional. Rooms were spotless with very comfortable beds. The swimming pool was perfect for windy days when it was harder to enjoy the beach. It’s great for both adults and families with children. The hotel’s restaurant offered delicious, freshly cooked dishes. The only thing that didn't work well was the WiFi but we didn't mind. However, that might be something to consider if someone is visiting for business purposes. Highly recommended!

Lovely owners, friendly and accommodating staff, clean hotel in a great position opposite the beach. Local restaurants were only a stone's throw away. Loved the pool and morning buffet breakfast. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our stay. Great value. Highly recommended.

Amazing place, perhaps the ideal place to stay in Syros, especially for families and couples. Staff extremely kind and service-oriented. Rooms very clean, great breakfast, including local delicacies. Very helpful tips and suggestions by the staff.

Great location opposite the beach and near restaurants. Very friendly staff, just a great experience all around. Prices went up 40% from 2016-2017 which is rather steep and why only 4 stars given, it's still just about worth it, but if it happens again in 2018 them maybe not.

Fabulous small hotel, great position just a few meters from the beach. Wonderful rooms beautifully decorated with balcony facing the sea. Swimming pool and surrounds absolutely pristine. Good buffet breakfast and good coffee is available. Staff super helpful and friendly. Fully recommend.
