Lovely stay at Dolphin Bay. We had a family room. Very comfortable , clean and lovely garden view. Pool area nice although very busy. Beach just outside the hotel is beautiful with clear water. A lovely shallow bay to have a swim in. All staff very helpful and friendly. Nice touch for the kids with free popcorn and ice-cream round the pool bar during the day.
Dolphin bay was an amazing stay. I was here for a week with a group, they were incredibly accommodating and super helpful. We were supposed to leave but our Ferris was delayed a day and they accommodated us getting new rooms. The rooms were very clean, the beach is really close and the pool is huge! Highly recommend!

The hotel is divided into new and older rooms. The older rooms have a tired feel, with blankets smelling of cigarette smoke (in fact, that smell will haunt you for several hours). The bathroom doesn't have a shower, just a hand-held showerhead, which makes bathing uncomfortable. Furthermore, the hall leading to the rooms is dark and smells of cigarettes too. The Hotel is a haven literally 50 metres from the beach with great facilities - lovely pool and sitting areas.
Breakfast was exceptional - lots of choices and not only great food but lots of it.
The staff are delightful and do everything to make your stay enjoyable and are incredibly accommodating - we had a 4.00PM ferry and were allowed to keep our room until 1.00PM which was really helpful.

Nice hotel, reminds me of the 90’s, very old in a quiet place near the beach, about 20 minutes from the island center, they clean it every day, everything is working but too old, simple and but necessary amenities, breakfast is too small😥, too little options, not even a simple omelette. Fair price no more than 70€ per day, including breakfast.
It's a good place for staying, our room was very tidy and clean and the staff were lovely. Nice breakfast as well. It looks a bit old but it's a charm in my opinion.

Perfect hotel in Syros. The best beach on the island is two minutes walk away, the pool and jacuzzi is great. Rooms are spotless and watching the sun set over the bay is unforgettable. The family running the hotel is extremely helpful and made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived.

I stayed here in 2015 and in 2017 and I have only the most wonderful memories. The location is quiet and perfect, beach is right outside the door. The owners are super helpful and attentive. We stayed here for 1 night. We arrived late at the port from the island of Kythnos. The owner of the hotel picked us up from the port, which was really kind of him. The room we stayed in was fine, it had everything you needed including a fridge. The shower was nice and powerful.

This was a lovely room. Decorated with taste. I really liked the location. Close to bus terminus, right infront of the port, cose to the shops. Breakfast was really good. The owners were so nice. Absolutely wonderful. Lila picked us up from the ferry which was extremely kind. Our historic suite had views of the port, beautifully furnished, with high quality bed linen, fluffy pillows etc. A very peaceful location yet only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants etc. The breakfast was delicious and Lila and her husband could not have been more pleasant and caring. 1901 Hermoupolis is very well located as it is only a 5-minute walk from the city center. Our room was exceptional with a vintage design and a balcony with a great view.
Vicky, the person who welcomed us, was very nice and friendly. She offered us traditional Greek coffee and let us do a late check-out.

We called by chance at this hotel and were greeted with helpful courtesy from the start. We stayed three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room at the back of the hotel with balcony which was really quiet especially considering the location on the harbour front. The room was immaculately clean. Breakfast was also excellent. Syros is a lovely, lively island and the Aktaion is in a superb location on the harbour. If you arrive by boat you can easily walk to the hotel. Being on the harbour front there are many many bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The rooms are classically furnished and decorated. The rooms are really clean and organised. The decoration simple but elegant. The location is central and a walking distance from the port.

Really nice room with great view! Breakfast was amazing; included toast with jams, tea, coffee, a choice between eggs and bacon, grilled cheese, and croissants. You could ask for yogurt and fruit if you would like as well. Everything was delicious. The wifi was the worst part, however, since it very rarely seemed to work. At night it almost never worked. Best hotel in town, great value for money. Great location and obliging staff.
Great old style hotel in perfect location. Room we had was a little small but loved having windows open and sitting in our room looking over the port. We looked at restaurants around Ermoupolis but kept on coming back to the Hermes’ hotel restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices and loved sitting outdoors on the terrace overlooking the water. Included breakfast reasonable.
Very good location. Nice and clean hotel. The only negative for myself is that the room don't have enough space for a chair if you want to do some office work.
Absolutely amazing in every way. But being able to stay in the room until the ferry docked tonight at 6 for half the night rate was what got me to write a review instead of just stars.
Being able to shower off the last swim, from right below my room, was the best amenity any hotel has ever offered.
Booked an executive room with a sea view and after this they renovated the place and moved us to a port view. They still call this a sea view but you can’t see any waves or cliffs, just a noisy port and a busy road with motorcycles revving up and down most of the night.
