Where to stay in Alonnisos town

Wonderful resort which sits comfortably within a rustic pine forest setting. The staff were all so nice and friendly and the food was varied and tasty. The bar is perfect for sipping cocktails while watching the sunset and our terrace was not overlooked and made us feel as though we were in the forest looking out over the ocean. I would definitely stay here again given half a chance.

An excellent choice if you are looking for beautiful sea, wonderful beaches, and outstanding service. The perfect choice – both the hotel and the destination.

Had a fantastic Holiday here. We had 10 very enjoyable days here. Brilliant service from all staff. Are Room was fantastic. It was at the top of a very steep hill and steps. We was aware of this before going. Just a lovely holiday.

Amazing 4-star resort that truly deserves 5+. Perfect location with three beautiful beaches and a pool, pool for children. The all-inclusive offer is outstanding – excellent food, great variety, and extremely kind staff. Every day the menu was different, so you never get bored of the food. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Marpunta Resort. The staff were all friendly, attentive and professional. Nothing was ever too much. Our stay was perfect. The food was plentiful, well presented and with a varied choice each day. Beautiful surroundings and the complex is well planned out. A small shop is on site with souvenirs and more importantly items that some may have overlooked (toothbrushes Chargers etc) when leaving home. Paradise by name, paradise by nature! We travel the world and rarely return to the same place twice, but we expect to return here! The rooms are realistic to the photos, they aren't modern but are perfectly comfortable. The pool / bar / terrace area is exceptional. The biggest, comfiest sun loungers, with incredible views. Lovely hotel in a spectacular setting. The view as you enter the complex is simply stunning. Sea views to die for and pots of plants, real Greece at its best. The rooms have all you need with great mattresses that ensure a good night's sleep. Yes the bathrooms need updating but are spotless, how much time do you spend in there? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!! This is our happy place, Bessie and Kosta are the best hosts, very personable, kind and helpful - like staying with family. The setting is magical, perfect views over the Aegean and the pool area is just fantastic! Breakfast buffet is hubby's favorite and rooms are very clean and comfortable. We will keep coming back whenever we come to Greece!

The Gorgona is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the port of Patitiri, where the ferries arrive and depart. Stayed only for one night. The room was very nice and clean. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment about that.

I 've been there with my girlfriend on a 5day trip. The hotel is recently renovated with very modern and warm decoration. The room was not that big as we thought but that was no problem for us. It was very clean and tidy. The cleaning lady was cleanig the room every day and we had new towels every othe day. Our booking included breakfast which is served from 8:00-10:30. Τhe hotel is very clean and quite and everyone is more than friendly. The breakfast is filling and has a great variety of typical greek tastes. The location is absolutely convenient, in the heart of Patiri, and most of the rooms have a view to the port.

Such a friendly welcome at the Port with a complimentary lift. The hotel is immaculately clean and serves delicious homemade food. The swimming pool is large and so refreshing. After a long days travelling, arriving at the hotel it’s an easy check in, just complete a form with your contact details, then you are taken to your room. We stayed in room 205, which was on the middle floor at the far end so benefited from a pool view and a lovely outlook down to Patitiri and the sea. We really liked this hotel, it’s in a lovely location overlooking the harbour, the view from our balcony was stunning. The hotel is decorated in ‘shabby chic’ style, which we liked, a lot of care has gone into the decor. Just spent 3 nights here and wow what place I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. We didn't book a transfer but noticed the mini bus from the hotel at the port and he offered us a lift for 10 euros. The staff here are so lovely. The guy who drives round giving people lifts up and down to the beach was amazing a real credit to the hotel. The rooms my god what a view...

Fantastic hotel Amazing staff Beautiful views and beach. The only problem it the hotel sits at the top of a steep hill. There is an electric buggy that is very good. But its still a lot of stairs to walk to room or the beach. Also the hotel is isolated to get to but the town costs 40 euro's return. There isnt a bus or water taxi.

A gem of the Aegean sea and of the island. The best beach of Alonissos just underneath. Architecture is magnificent but rooms need a major overhaul and renewal. Personnel is kind and willing to help, but they are not happy and you can tell. Poor breakfast for the price paid. Overall a nice experience although I would go back only after the place is renewed.

Nice hotel Lots and lots of steps and ramps. Not a hotel for someone who needs extra help to get around Golf carts help but it still not to the beach. Beach is beautiful but small. A very good place to relax. Great location – close to the beach, so you can enjoy the sea at any time of day. The food is tasty and varied, with something for everyone. Super recommended. We had a great time, the flats are very nice, new and really clean. All kinds of benefits are offered to have a nice holiday: coffee capsules every day, personal care and bath kit, mask and night caps. I also really enjoyed the little terrace with the snack. This is a great place to stay! Angelos is the perfect host, he kindly met us at the port to help with our bags and gave plenty of advice for seeing the island in April/May which we really appreciated. The rooms are designed beautifully, the location is close to everything you need and there’s parking available.

I cannot recommend Angelous Suites more highly. The place is stunning. The view is amazing but more importantly, Angelos himself just the thing that makes it so special that I will always keep coming back. He made me feel like an old friend and that I was home. Great host, charming and helpful. The attention to detail is rare and it feels like everything was thought about for you. Daily cleaning and restocking service was wonderful. The location is walking distance (minutes) from cafe and bakery.

Ikion was a great hotel for our stay in Alonissos. The hotel is in a great location- in between the port town with plenty of restaurants and a very nice beach. The sea view from our balcony was amazing and the breakfast was homemade and very delicious every time. The owner is very kind and we felt very well taken care of.
