Marpunta Resort in Alonnisos town

Amazing 4-star resort that truly deserves 5+.
Perfect location with three beautiful beaches and a pool, pool for children.
The all-inclusive offer is outstanding – excellent food, great variety, and extremely kind staff. Every day the menu was different, so you never get bored of the food. The beach has plenty of space for everyone, the snack and pool bars are fantastic, and the drink selection honestly left me impressed.

Rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures spacious, comfortable, with large bathrooms, all in authentic Greek style.
I recommend renting a scooter directly at the reception for 1–2 days to explore the island there are so many breathtaking beaches to discover.

You won’t regret choosing this hotel it’s worth every single penny.
The only small downside is that rooms are located uphill, and after a week it can get tiring… but let’s say it’s a good workout!

Wonderful resort which sits comfortably within a rustic pine forest setting. The staff were all so nice and friendly and the food was varied and tasty. The bar is perfect for sipping cocktails while watching the sunset and our terrace was not overlooked and made us feel as though we were in the forest looking out over the ocean. I would definitely stay here again given half a chance.

An excellent choice if you are looking for beautiful sea, wonderful beaches, and outstanding service. The perfect choice – both the hotel and the destination.

Had a fantastic Holiday here. We had 10 very enjoyable days here. Brilliant service from all staff. Are Room was fantastic. It was at the top of a very steep hill and steps. We was aware of this before going. Just a lovely holiday.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Marpunta Resort. The staff were all friendly, attentive and professional. Nothing was ever too much. Pro’s: - Staff:- special mention to Vasilis & Christina, both really ensured we were looked after and took what time they had to make our stay extra special. - Food:- less is more at Marpunta. Not a bad thing as everything we tried was of decent quality. Even the pool bar snacks were all incredible. - Facilities:- Rooms were great. Cleaning team managed to never disrupt our rest, always attending when we were out. View from the main bar is truly phenominal. Although not many sun loungers around the pool, ample nearby at the beach to make up for this. Entertainment:- Nina & Renee are the life & soul. Always striking the right balance between activities to do during the day and maintaining the peaceful setting the hotel naturally delivers. Cons: - Not enough cats Thank you Marpunta team for a lovely holiday.

Our stay was perfect. The food was plentiful, well presented and with a varied choice each day. Beautiful surroundings and the complex is well planned out. A small shop is on site with souvenirs and more importantly items that some may have overlooked (toothbrushes Chargers etc) when leaving home. The rooms are clean tidy, functional and well maintained.
I would like to thank all the staff we engaged with throughout our stay for being attentive, professional, and knowledgeable when asked for advice or guidance, the servers during meals, reception staff front of house and also importantly, the people we never saw (maintenance staff, house keeping staff, grounds keepers, admin etc) who were also essential in making our stay memorable. We will be booking again for next year.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and definitely not crowded. The food was amazing and great service. It did get a little busy in the restaurant after 8 so we tended to go a little earlier. There was no problem getting sun loungers at the beach anytime and if you went before 10 also at the pool. We weren’t too bothered about sitting next to the pool and prefer the beach but both are very close to each other. There was no one reserving sun loungers early in the morning like some other resorts. The pool bar was excellent and the staff worked so hard. The pool was beautiful and never overcrowded. Both beaches were beautiful and if the weather is ok you can hire kayaks or paddle boards. There is a steep hill up to the accommodation but it’s not that bad and if you need to you can get a lift in a golf buggy. Our room 307 was very nice and the village feel of the accommodation is lovely. There is a little bit of entertainment if you want it but overall is just a beautiful peaceful resort. Not somewhere you should go if you want lots of evening entertainment or kids entertainment etc. The sunset every evening at the bar was stunning. It’s easy to get a taxi to Patitiri for €10 and the hotel puts on a minibus twice a day. The old town Chora is absolutely spectacular and definitely worth a visit. Special mention for Theodore who was always incredibly helpful on reception and he took time to arrange boat hire for us despite tricky weather. We had a 6.15am ferry the day we left and the hotel had arranged a packed breakfast for us and tea/coffee while we waited for our pick up. Overall a beautiful hotel on a beautiful unspoiled island! We hope to come back!

Nice location 15 mins or so away from the main town. All inclusive buffet was decent and the pool is nice. We stayed for three nights which felt about long enough. Overall an enjoyable stay

Nice all inclusive resort. Good selection of food, quality is above average. Very nice pool bar with excellent selection of drinks and snacks. Pool is nice but sometimes difficult to find a sunbed. Beach is immediately at the hotel, small pebbles. Also nice that you have the option to use a SUP and kayak. The personnel was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a high quality all inclusive experience. Very friendly to our little dog, too.

Truly exceptional service from the moment we arrived. The reception staff greeted us with genuine warmth & efficiency, making check-in seamless after a long day of travel (Mrs. Nazarenko knows very well what she's doing). Special thanks to General Manager Mr. Vlastaras, who took the time to personally welcome us & ensure we had everything we needed for a productive stay (he was literally assisting everyone around at all times - staff & guests). His leadership is clearly reflected in the professionalism & courtesy of the entire team. This is the kind of hospitality that keeps me coming back.
