Lovely hotel. I stayed during the Christmas season when it looked very festive. Large comfortable rooms. Very clean. Cozy bar and restaurant on the 6th floor. Good food. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would certainly visit again.

Check in staff late at night were superb. Super fast no messing about. Especially the guy who helped me with my luggage & to park the car in the car park. Breakfast was superb. No complaints & included in the room fee.

We stayed for a week because we had a family wedding. We thought the hotel was a bit pricey for the Patras town. We have stayed there before but this time we didn’t think the service was as good and the hotel had not been maintained. We moved three times due to bathroom maintenance issues. We just stayed one night there. We took a taxi from the ferry terminal and found out that the bus station was right next-door. Very convenient. The place was beautiful and the staff at the restaurant were amazing. The breakfast was huge. It had everything you could want.

Only good things to say Located in a great spot, the room had a fantastic water view and parking was very easy. The interior was modern, updated and clean. The staff were very friendly. If visiting Patras again we will be sure to book at this hotel.

This hotel never fails to disappoint ! We stay here every time we are passing through Patra. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast amazing and the food in general is excellent. Very nice hotel in a recently renovated neoclassical -style house. Very clean room, comfortable beds, very kind personnel. Location was ideal, close to restaurants and shops but still a bit off, so very quiet. Has a very nice backyard garden for breakfast/dinner and one can drink cocktails by the pool. A very pleasant stay overall.

I chose the Bold Type, not only for its reviews, but also for its location. I knew the building all my life, as I was born literally 50m away! This was my first neighbourhood. A very beautiful, secluded hotel with 10 rooms; quiet and comfortable. The only downside is that breakfast isn't a buffet, and the taste isn't quite to the liking of most Chinese people.

The rooms and facilities were superb, with a swimming pool and balcony. The architecture was antique and charming, and it was a Michelin-starred hotel in 2025. The only downside was the poor soundproofing; there was a bar downstairs with very loud rock music that lasted until about 2:00-3:00 AM. It's not suitable for people who are sensitive to noise.

Right on the main walking street and the major square, you feel like royalty when you enter a discreet carved wood door into 19th Century luxury.

Very good location and exceptionally friendly stuff! We really enjoyed it, however if you’re not into night life, ask to get a room to the court yard because there is a night club across the street and we couldn’t sleep properly.

The room was a nice size. Breakfast choice was really good. I went for the smoothie bowl and a juice. Location was close to most things I wanted to see!

Very good and helpful check in and check out staff. Fast internet, Free onsite parking, sumptuous breakfast, room fine. Hotel needs a bit of renovation, which dates back from the glorious 1980s. Value for money.Recommended.

Old hotel with few amenities but located right at the beach in a very calm part of the city. Approx. 10min walk to the suburban rail station, operating once every hour to the city as the only nearby form of transportation. The restaurant is below average and rather expensive, but there is only one alternative in walkable distance.

Nice hotel right on the ocean, very pretty views. Liked that the hotel restaurant was open since it was winter and hard to find places open for meals.

Need an upgrade but still worth the money We stayed for a couple of days and we were very happy with the staff and the hospitality. The hotel for us was a 5 minute drive from Rio hospital as we were visiting family there. The hotel was brilliant but the only downside is it needs a bit of a face lift, it’s looking tired but for us it was just right, thanks to all the staff who made us welcome.

The hotel was decent for its price. It's very near next to the beach. You have a free sunbed, but it was extremely annoying not being able to have a free sunbed available since it's not only dedicated to tourist who are booked in the hotel, anyone can have a free sunbed. I fpund that the staff were very helpful and friendly both the lady and the gentleman on duty at the time. We shared a family room perfect location parking up the road which we found very safe to use. Breakfast was just what we needed and great for teenagers. We would definitely stay here again. Resonable priced for the center of patra. All in all a great experience and if needed would stay on my own...

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was big and hydro shower was great. Location was fantastic, so close to everything, in the city centre. Staff were very hospitable and helpful about information. We would definitely go back.

My wife had a bad accident while on holiday in Kefalonia and we were transferred to the mainland. I needed a hotel and was dropped off by a taxi at the Olympic Star hotel. My length of stay was undetermined but the hotel accommodated me day by day they could not have been more helpful. The hotel is well located. Check-in was quick. Breakfast has a very limited selection, but there are plenty of coffee shops around, so you can have coffee and breakfast. Parking is about 300 meters from the hotel; you have to pay an additional 15 euros; the hotel doesn't have parking. The hotel has two stars, so we get what we pay for.

Wasn't expecting much from a 2-star hotel, and for good reason. An adequate place for me to sleep after exploring all day.

Nice place for couple of nights. Bar prices cheapest we found in Patres. Maids start work early so can be little noisy at 8am

A good location in Patras. Room was clean and bed was really comfortable. Just one socket by bed. Nice sized fridge in room. Kettle was provided which was useful. Shower was a good size however dried paint was peeling off wall in shower. Didn’t try breakfast. Would stay again on another trip to Patras
