Where to stay in Balatonakali

We made a last minute decision and there was room here, but we didn’t regret it. Spacious parking, cleanliness, air conditioning, stable wifi. We slept in one of the upstairs rooms, there was no one but us, so the 2 shared kitchens and restrooms were private. Helpful owner, shop 3 minutes walk, beach 10 minutes walk.

We booked it last minute for one night because we were cycling around the lake. I think by default they don't accept you for one night, but we called them and finally we were able to go. A gem. Each room has it’s bathroom right outside of the room. There is a well equipped kitchen and a nice yard! The owner has 2 dogs who are very adorable

I lear ed loads about Hungary from the friendly staff! I'm almost sad didn't stay longer! The house is nice and comfy with a lot of space! Imgard is a very competent and friendly! And don't forget to say hi to Diesel! :)

Simple, clean accomodation for few nights.

The place was not bad. But unfortunately a family with a small child lived next door where the children shouted alternately at 4 in the morning and 11 at night. It is warm in the attic (outside + 5 degrees) if the window is closed, if it was open then I could not sleep from the yelling of the child. So the air conditioning for me. I missed it a bit. If you are after being away from city life this is a good option. All is done with good taste and love although the website gave me the impression of a bigger garden and serving tasty home made food. For food you have to walk 15-20 minutes (or drive) but that was worth it. The countryside is enchanting.

I spent a nice weekend here with my friends. Traveling a little back in time, jumping through the ages, we were staying in a wonderful (old) watermill. It can be heated with wood. The hot water is electrically heated. You can grill, cook, etc. It is a very good place to relax and unwind. No wifi, no TV, but that's not missing here either. The host tries to fulfill all requests, he is very helpful!

It is recommended for those looking for spiritual treasures and those who like to be close to nature.

Nicely located in the green - therefore quiet, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Great to have breakfast in the garden. Lovely style of the apartment. Very cute details like candles and a chain of lights. Had everything we needed. Nice coffee was provided. The beautiful peninsula Tihany is nearby and the host gave us excellent tips for our time there.

Very good hotel on the shady hillside of Szepezd. The smaller beach is about 5 minutes walk, the larger beach is 15 minutes walk. The bed is comfortable, the area is quiet, with good air. The care is excellent, the hosts are very attentive. It could even be the location of an Agatha Christie novel.😀

The hotel is beautiful. The mens at the entrance are very friendly, they speak English. However, the people working in the restaurant barely understood the room number in English. The first day at dinner no one asked us for drinks, the second day at dinner the lady asked us for drink after we finished eating. The service in the restaurant could be much friendlier. I uploaded my review as a picture. Check in between 2 to 7 pm, but the wellness center is open between 8:30 18:30. So we needed to go to hotel earlier.

A great hotel in terms of location, services, food, and the workers are very cooperative. The rooms are very clean. A suitable swimming pool and a view of natural scenery. It is very suitable for families and children. There is nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Tolgyfa Panzio. Beautiful views of the woods, large garden, clean rooms and a lovely kitchen with everything you'd need. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating - she even drove us to the shop when we arrived on our bikes in the middle of a storm. We would definitely recommend it and would love to go back for a longer stay!

Small, family place. The renovation of the bathrooms is in progress. It is very ideal for groups of friends because of the large communal space (dining room). Olga is a very nice host.

It was very nice and clean and Close to Balaton. In near surrounding was severals caffees, restarants and icecream shop. Nice small town for little walk.

We had a great stay at Blue Bike Hostel! The location is close to a very nice bathing spot, food (all day) and not too far from the center. The owner is very friendly and helpful, we had a nice chat about his hostel and our trip after arrival and before leaving. The rooms are all new and a very good standard for a hostel, including towels, a fridge and good bathroom. We recommend this hostel to everyone...

Hostel is very simple, no kitchen, but new. Water is heating by sun, which is very good. Water flash in toilet was broken. No wifi. I found cockroach.

Very good accommodation. Everything is clean. Beach 10-14 minutes on foot. Shop park pharmacy drink discount bazaar row nearby. There are plenty of restaurants 6-8 minutes away.

A family-friendly place in a calm environment. It is ideal for families with small children who want to relax a little apart from the hustle and bustle of Balaton. The center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The kitchen could be a little bigger, but it is well equipped.

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Rooms are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is free. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful. The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees.

The house was perfect, everything was nice and a dishes very clean. Only we had not been told that behind the house was a construction site. There was 7.00 clock started u.ginge almost the whole day to evening 17.00 clock. You could forget about nap. Otherwise, it would have been even better without the noise. We left early because of health reasons, so drove home again. You can recommend it

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.
