Amazing lunch here while travelling through northeastern Iceland!

Great place, very cosy and comfortable, a bit noisy ventilation at the bathroom. It switches on when you enter and stops in around 10 minutes))

Nice restaurant with good food. Friendly staff. The service was slow and the food not delivered at the same time, resulting in a long wait for some.

Staff acted strange and was not friendly. Rooms were clean and nice. There's a restaurant that has very good pizzas with some nice vegan options (which is not a given in a small town like this).

I’m giving this place a one start bc I can’t go any lower. Poor costumer service, unkept facilities, but what surprised me the most is when the owner Gísli said “we don’t need any tourist business” when I asked if he could sell me a cup coffee to go. Tourist business...make your decision accordingly 🤷🏽♀️

Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is just opposite the small harbour and contains as well a small restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms a very clean. The only negative point is the small bathroom with only one toilet and one shower for the whole first floor (which contains about 12 rooms with double beds). To less in the morning.
Due to that we have to refill our fuel we don't used he restaurant for a dinner rather we ate at the gas station in the town. The included breakfast was rich and varied.
The wifi is free an depending from the count of users fast. So altogether we can recommend this hotel.
