Easy to find. Good breakfast. Close to excellent horse riding facility. Can get road noise. Easy parking. Friendly staff

Lovely hotel on the Ring Road, which was extremely convenient. Room was spacious with a view of mountain in back and neighbor’s house (and greenhouse!). A shop with hand-made items is adjacent by a gas station, which was a fun stop. Breakfast had more options than most others that we experienced, and the elevator was also very convenient.

The rooms are a bit tired. That said, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was adequate, and the staff was friendly. Basic accommodations but for one night it was no problem.

The location was very convenient and the room was comfortable. The only reason I gave one star off for comfort is because our room was directly above the entry door and people hung out below, and it was a little loud at times other than that it was a wonderful experience with delicious food at the restaurant. I would stay here again.

Nice low key road hotel. Breakfast was minimalistic compared to other hotels. Bathroom drain was clogged. Windows facing hotel entrace where people would go out to smoke, so smell cam into the room, as well as midges, since no screens on windows

Amazing please to stay in Iceland, the rooms are so beautif and comfortable. The views are stunning, and you have horses around walking freely This please is like paradise.I would love to stay here at least 3-5 days, but we did ring circles, so we had to keep going. Wonderful cottage style stay in a midst of grassland. Really love the cottage feel of the place. The owner was very friendly and she was there outside the room waiting for us when we arrived. Love her huge friendly dog as well. The room was well furnished. The owner even provided us with some snacks and drives for breakfast in the fridge. There was also souvenir used horseshoe for us to bring home...

Great place away from town with great prices and surprise fun for the family. We played with the dog the cat and the friendly horses. What a great evening for fun between attractions.

Stayed for one night back in September 2022, loved it ! Very comfortable room, a nice little breakfast, a souvenir of a horse shoe, an amazingly friendly dog, beautiful views and gorgeous horses. Wish could have stayed for longer ! Thank you for a great stay !

This is my 2nd time in Iceland and my second stay at these cottages. The location is ideal between the west and the north. The cottages are very nicely appointed and spacious. Was lucky enough to see the Northern lights here 2x now. Horseback riding is offered which I also did and was quite nice, horses are well behaved. Having stayed here twice now I cannot hesitate to recommend these charming...

We really enjoyed our riding tour even without prior riding experience. We were in a group of 7 people with 2 guides. Both guides were very friendly and professional.

Very clean accommodation. 2 shared toilets/bathrooms that were big and clean. The kitchen is equipped with toaster and oven and a good variety of food for meals. Unfortunately, wifi did not work on the day we checked in. Staff took a while to come over to inspect the problem but could not resolve it.

I love the decor and the "spa" like feel of the room and bathroom. Very clean, easy to find, quiet location. What I didn't like is the fancy blinds I couldn't figure out and had to place pillows in the window to block out the light. I also had an embarrassing morning with breakfast. We loved staying at this property! The quietness was lovely. The fridge was stocked for breakfast which was appreciated and the hot tub was wonderful after many days of hikes. The only small issue was trying to contact the property. I was not able to use my phone to call and the property does not respond to messages, but a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend!

Property was probably dorm rooms. It wasn’t terrible. We didn’t really have occasion to interact with staff. We stayed one night on our loop around Iceland. The town doesn’t have much by way of restaurants. Keep expectations basic.

The room with a private bathroom was clean and sufficient. Its all a bit sterile as its a student dorm. The breakfast was basic. Easy to park and location was convenient.

A dormitory style accommodation and hotel. Rooms are small, inbuilt desk, Lino floors and an even smaller bathroom. Quiet room once everyone has gone to their rooms. Restaurant is more a canteen and extremely noisy when several groups are there due to all the hard surfaces. Staff were genuine and helpful.

It was adequate for a one night stay, dry clean. Rooms are small and bathroom is very small. But it’s a dorm room so to be expected. Breakfast was adequate.

It is the way best place to stay and drink and the outside area is the best of the best in sauðárkrókur! I would recommend without a doubt!! And the people that run the bar are super nice! Outdooor area is well protected by the wind and is superb.

Friendly and warm service, cozy rooms and very-well located. The next door bar was also charming and had a good selection of local beers. This is an excellent choice for a base of command while exploring everything this area of northern Iceland has to offer.

Rustic hotel with very thin walls. Impossible to sleep without earplugs when your next door neighbour is snoring! Luckily the earplugs are provided from the hotel and can be found in the room. Loved the natural hot springs spa which was open till late and then again before breakfast.

We booked two rooms, one of which turned out to be a loft. Both were incredibly small. Not only was the loft room easy to bump your head on, but the bathroom sink was incredibly small and unusable, and the toilet flushed with a puff of water that was completely ineffective. For nearly 2,000 yuan a night, the room wasn't even as good as a 200 yuan room in China. I've never stayed in a hotel this bad...

It was a good one night stay for our journey North on our clockwise Route 1 journey. We did a late check-in close to 10pm and found the keys and a map (which could have been clearer) to find our room. We rented an amazing spacious 2 bedroom apartment at a reasonable price.

Easily one of the coolest hostels I've stayed at. For starters, you can have your own room without bunks like a regular hotel. Showers and bathrooms were well kept. The location was epic and staying in a former school was super unique. Definitely will be back!

We went from the Myvatn area to Straw Hat Mountain. We gave up the whale watching trip to Husavik, but the distance to Straw Hat Mountain was a bit long, so we chose this hotel as a transfer. It has a kitchen for cooking, a swimming pool and hot springs, and you can also barbecue!
