Hotels in Milazzo

The hotel is lovely, great location and our room was big with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with enough vegan options for us. However, when we checked in, we were told the restaurant was all full for dinner and couldn't make reservations. We were tired from traveling all day and very hungry. The hotel should have been able to accommodate 2 more people for dinner.

Very clean and convenient for the port and to experience the town

We did not feel welcome here. Staff not friendly. It was mid-May and the pool had no services, towels or anyone nearby. We were glad we only stayed here one night.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for boat trips from Milazzo to Lipari, Stromboli and Vulcano etc The hotel has wonderful rooms with stunning views over Harbour. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed. The shower wasn't great due to water pressure being too low. There was a supermarket opposite the hotel, however had to walk for 10-15 minutes to find restaurants. It would have been great if the receptionist would have advised us of the hotel shuttle bus when we asked about taxi. The info was only provided by a different receptionist at checkout...

It was quieter due to the off season, but it was fully booked on weekends.

Right on the beach! Location close to Montalbano's house and the restaurant he ate at in the tv show. Lovely restaurants by the sea nearby (by the Montalbano house), it's a 25 min walk. The breakfast is very simple

We fell in love! Family with 2 little girls, very spacious, clean, comfortable room, it looked newly renovated! Excellent breakfast, great location (10 minutes walk from the center), but the real difference is the hotel management! Old fashioned/styled/decorated hotel although spotless and flawless maintained and immaculately clean. Staff’s very helpful, courteous and professional. Breakfast buffet it’s well organised and appetising. Plenty of options mainly sweet but also some savoury. I was a wonderful surprise.

It's OK, a good starting point for an excursion to the Aeolian Islands, close to the harbour.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable room. The shower was a little on the smaller side, but the water pressure was great. Staff was very friendly. The location was great. A/C was very good. It is located on the road next to sea. I had room with sea view which had good sound proofing and good WiFi. I normally found parking in the street but Saturday evening I did not move car because very busy. Paid parking quite far away. Breakfast is continental and with few choices.

The room is not bad, the amenities are a little bit lacking, but it's clean and that's fine. I can't be picky about this place. I left early in the morning and missed breakfast, so I made two cups of cappuccino to take away.

We were welcomed here at the last minute after Manzoni Elements apartments let us down ( we had booked sea view rooms and got rooms overlooking buildings - with no apology and no room change offered as they were full ) the staff at La Bussola were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were a good size, clean and modern. Breakfast was great, we have no complaints.

Location good if you want to use the ferry but not near the beach. Hotel service from reception was excellent but other things not so good. Room was fine clean and large. Had a coffee machine but no cups. Couldn't work the shower they came up to show us how and they could work it either. Got there in the end. Lovely little hotel in the center of Milazzo. Decorated with taste, with beautiful historic elements. During my stay of several days, I lived in a double room. Everything was perfect. Breakfasts - very tasty, especially cakes and pastries. The port and bus stops are within a few minutes' walk.

Very good value accommodation in the heart of Milazzo in an elegant pedestrian street Air-Con room was spotless clean. The bed comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Manager was super aggressive asking to pay for city tax, and did not understand the English explanation that I had already paid for it, only after studying for 10min the receipt they'd given me the day before he accepted I didn't owe them anything. Very unpleasant

I have just recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. I have no complaints. I would like to especially thank Katherine who worked at the front desk who was very helpful with information. Her English was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again if I am in that area.

Perfect location visiting Aeolian Islands just a walking distance to the port. Besides from that the hotel got major renovation! The current pics here needs updating as it a modern now! The restaurant is perfect when eating breakfast. Also it is next to a cafe and othe food establishments. Im glad i booked here. 5 star across the board!

Excellent hotel in a strategic position in Milazzo also as a starting point for the Aeolian Islands. Spectacular and bright terrace. The restaurant is worth a visit. Very good and fresh raw materials. A special mention for the roasted seafood salad. I will certainly return.

Nice hotel, well renovated, only the breakfast terrace is very hot and needs more ventilation. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it faces the port, 20 minutes walk from the beautiful west beach and not far from the historic center and the seafront. The air conditioning certainly needs improvement as do the accessories in the courtyard (broken umbrella and plastic table stained by cigarette butts), the rest is not bad. Breakfast should be more varied and not limited to packaged croissants and some fresh ones in the morning

I booked 2 nights on their big terrace room but received a room with a tiny balcony room that does not even fit a chair. Since there is no staff there, nobody is available to correct the situation or even to complain about having my room assigned to someone else. Absolutely perfect stay at this gem of a site. The campground is perfect and the swimming pool too. Swings etc for the grand children and staff that could not do enough for you. The port of Milazzo was 4 km away for visits to the islands and staff ran a shuttle service there and back. Will definitely return and cannot recommend this oasis highly enough.

Great place to stay on Milazzo. The host adviced us to visit the castle and the natural pool, which were both amazing! Room was decent size with a balcony with seats for 2. We use the bicycles from the hotel to cruise around Milazzo.

Surrounded by the old town, we found it right away, helpful owner and large beds. Even in february we spent most of the time outside.

I don't know where the bad ratings for the accommodation come from We were the three of us and everything was fine. Managed to do a late check-in, it was very clean and quiet. Excellent location, you are practically at sea in 20 meters or so. Simple structure, bedroom and bathroom (blind) at least our room 5. The window overlooked a courtyard, unfortunately unusable due to the presence of pigeons. No breakfast, but there is a common room with fridge, kitchenette etc. All in all not bad, some things to fix maybe.

Nice and comfortable B&B if you want to spend a few days at the Tono, just 40 meters from the sea with nearby beaches and an excellent nightlife. The only things to review the showers the water from the handset comes out slowly and the supplied bubble bath is too small to use for a shower. Finally, it would be good to be able to turn on the air conditioning in the kitchen if you wanted to eat something...

4 stars should be given to the central position of the B&B. The rooms are not very large in the bathroom, little water drops and difficult to mix I risked not being able to take a shower. For breakfast there is a bit of everything available, even if it is better to have it in bars to enjoy Sicilian delicacies.
