I don't have enough words to describe how excellent this hotel is! I stayed here for a three-week study group with 25 people, and it was truly a home away from home. The entire staff were so patient with us non-Italian speakers and beyond accommodating and kind. I was here for 3 nights and I stayed in a suite room. The room was spacious with minibar and safe. Large bed. The bathroom was also spacious equiped by a large walk in shower. All was very clean. Very nice hotel located in the center of Sulmona, a little difficult to park because it is located in an alley. Very comfortable and quiet rooms with everything you need for a good stay. The only flaw is a salty breakfast with little choice.

Had lunch in this restaurant. Fantastic. Bottle Presidium paired with the food. We had an elaborate mixed antipasti which was served separately. Very posh. Also pasta wit garlic scapes. And we shared a grigliata agnello. Desserts are superb! Go if you have the chance

Very suitable place for families with small children.
The inn is very nice, it has an adjacent garden where children can play safely and safely, there are also stables with donkeys to which it is possible to feed.
As for the menu, the choice is not very wide, but if you do not have particular expectations, all in all you get up from the table satisfied.

The accommodation was huge and so close to the piazza. Parking was great as it had a central parking place, about 300m by walk- which was great as we had a car!

Wonderful location in one of the narrow lanes in the oldest part this magnificent town. Clean and all the basic requirements were available and worked well.
Centrally located to town the owner was helpful. Breakfast was just at our doorstep almost at a very clean bar (cafe) with choice of croissants/cornetto and coffee. Easy to find with parking just outside on side street out local traffic zone only. Short walk 100m.
Place well cared for in detail, clean, and with a fridge to put drinks.
Perfect location for a walk on the Corso, nearby there is also a well-wooded park for walking in the cool.
Perfect breakfast at the bar, just below the structure.
Mr. Paolo, helpful and very kind.

I stayed at B&B Solimo during a journey by bicycle of ‘the Wolf’s Lair’ route of Abruzzo. I was forced to come down to Sulmano due to a broken spoke, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! I called the B&B owner in the morning, and was received attentively and warmly a little while later. This allowed me to charge, shower and relax, which is really what I needed after a few days of camping...

The landlord welcomed us with a great hospitality. The house is very close to the city centre, it's easy to walk through the city. The bedroom was comfy and clean as a whistle! Breakfast was rich and tasty. I recommend it.

The structure is a cozy, very clean apartment, complete with everything, in an excellent position in the center. You feel right at home. Vittorio is always available for any information and questions, an example of kindness and hospitality. We will definitely be back.
Loved this place! Nice small B&B right in the centre of Sulmona. Amores is new and very clean. Rooms are quiet, nicely decorated, with ceiling fans. Good value for price and location. Good breakfast at bar, with fruit juice, cappuccino and croissant.

Well kept inside, clean, comfortable in the spaces with even a living room, not far from the town. Dear owners. Nb even if breakfast is not included, they left a coffee machine with waffles, rusks, jams, etc. and other packaged items .... so breakfast was made there! Thanks!!!
Nice "country" style apartment on the quiet outskirts of Sulmona. Overall everything ok, for one / two nights it is a good solution to explore the surrounding area.

We were very happy to have picked Grancia dei Celestini for our 4 day stay in Sulmona. It is a lovely city and a good base to explore Abruzzen (although when we were here, there was lots of rainy weather and low hanging clouds so we could only see places below 900 meters).
Antonio is a good host. Our room (the large 2-room one at the front of the building, with balcony) was very clean, comfortable...
Old monastry at the Corso Ovidio, the best place to be in Sulmona, and a very nice breakfast (the kind you'll rarely find getting into the south of Italy).
This b & b was a very pleasant surprise. Beautiful rooms with air conditioning, TV and breakfast amenities. Spacious bathroom and very comfortable shower. Historic building in the center of Sulmona. Hearty breakfast. Managed with courtesy and the staff was helpful and very kind. Definitely recommended!
A cute room tucked away above a beautiful medieval courtyard.
The owner went out of his way to make us feel not just welcome but at home; he recommended hiking trails, loaned us a book w hiking maps, and made dinner reservations (go to Buonvento!)
Our room had two skylights for fresh air and sunlight! There is a church bell that rings nearby every morning at 7 am to get your day started!
The breakfast...
Lovely old monastery with courtyard, just inside the walls of Sulmona. Be careful not to drive into the town without a resident permit like we did or you may get an 80 euro fine.
Although on the main corso, one wouldn't know it for it is a quiet and serene place. The owner has paid such beautiful attention to detail beginning with the building's restoration right down to the tasty morsels. His staff is courteous, skilled and ready to go the extra mile for their guests.

The host Francis made this stay so great for us. She made breakfast each morning for us too. She went out of her way to make sure the Wifi worked good and that we had a place for the car. She was so friendly and she wanted us to enjoy the place and the town too. She cleaned up every day as well and straightened up for us too. She is the best.

The BB Dietro Piazza Maggiore is a suitable guest house to spend one or two nights at the Sulmona.
The room is large, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom is new. The choice of putting a hose that comes out near the bidet is questionable, given that it is taken against it with the leg.
Unfortunately the owner is a bit of a mess: although I had warned her of my arrival time, I had to wait a good half...
