Hotels in Carpignano Salentino

This is a fabulous hotel in a beautiful peaceful location although not far from major towns such as Otranto and Lecce. Our room was very clean and comfortable with all facilities. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful and all spoke perfect English. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to this area of Southern Italy.

Planning on spending 8 days in Puglia we decided to split our time with 5 days in the southern portion and 3 in the northern portion. We studied many hotels and airbnb locations and were super lucky to have selected Furnirussi Tenuta, close to Otranto. This is simply a magical place. It is surrounded by 4,500 fig trees (largest fig plantation in Europe ... please ask for some figs during breakfast...

Wonderful hotel with one of the best pools we have ever seen - surrounded by trees, it is like a natural oasis complete with birds and dragonflies. The pool epitomises the essence of this very special boutique hotel and its ability to coexist with nature rather than fight against it - so don't come here if you want manicured lawns and paths. This resort is off the beaten path you will appreciate the quietness! From the front desk staff to the restaurant wait staff, especially Mauricio, you will experience an authentic Italian hospitality in its purest form. A small playground a workout room is on the premises. I would stay here again!!

Secluded with one the best swimming pools I have ever experienced. The water was a perfect temperature and the lounge chairs were situated perfectly for sun and shade. All staff were welcoming and especially the wait staff in the restaurant. Mauricio was our favorite!!

We just left with warm memories having spent time in this little sojourn far from the throngs hitting Puglia all of a sudden. Lovely charming and hospitable staff welcomed us. Breakfast was delightful and the chef went out of his way to accommodate a food allergy. The well appointed rooms were large and airy with beautiful furnishings.

What a beautiful place to stay. The pool area was nice and the trees provide some shade. We loved the dog and all the cats running around the grounds. We were kindly helped with picking spots to visit or where we could get some groceries or a nice local restaurant by Luigi. Antonella was also very kind and helpful!

A perfect stay in the heart of Salento, with amazing hosts, brilliant breakfast and an extremely relaxing environment. We will be back!

We stayed in Corte dei Salentini for 10 days and we highly recommend it. Luigi,Viola and Antonella have treated us really well, very friendly and accommodating. The place is super clean and the apartment we stayed in had everything we needed for. The whole place is very beautiful with loads of green with a well established garden which made the whole experience very peaceful. We enjoyed the company...

I have been coming to Salento for nearly a decade and this has become my favourite place to stay. Luigi and Antonella are the perfect hosts and so much thought and care has gone into every detail - from the kettle and herbal teas in the rooms to the home made jam and local pastries and the beautifully decorated rooms. There were even two crime novels by a local writer in my room. The pool and gardens...

Where do I start… Luigi greeted us at the property which was a fantastic touch and an early sign of his generosity to come. Gracious and welcoming hosts, he and Viola made our stay feel homely and peaceful with their well designed farm house, including offering of locally grown fruits and a Puglian breakfast in their courtyard. Their warm energy makes this stay authentic and memorable. Highly recommend...
