Where to stay in Scalea

Absolutely amazing property. This was the last stop on our 5 week tour of southern Italy and Sicily, and a perfect way to end our trip. Our room was beautiful, super comfortable and well appointed, stepping right out onto the patio with infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Staff and owner Sergio were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked to order options. Thoroughly recommended

A beautiful, well maintained property. We were the only guests on a night in mid May. The patio surrounds a sparkling pool and has loungers and seating. Unobstructed views of the bay. The room was well equipped and there was strong wi Fi throughout the property. Breakfast was fresh, more than ample and served at a table on the patio. Sergio, the manager was a delight. Parking was free and easy

The upstairs suite is in a shared area with the owner. The WiFi also doesn’t consistently reach. This can feel as though you are intruding so it may be more comfortable to book a regular room.

I ate at their resturant and it was quite pleasant. Salad was fresh and delicious. The staff was nothing short of amazing. The place seems to have an excallent vibe, wiĺl most likely be going again

We did not stay at the hotel, but we ate in the restaurant. Food was very good. Fresh. The service was perfect. The servers take their jobs very seriously. The price was quite reasonable. We have been before and will return again.

The pizza is good, considering that we are in Calabria and not in NAPLES, it will be for the Neapolitan pizza maker, but I found it among the best in the area, the only flaw is the service, I think they are not used to working with a lot of demand especially so in August the orders came out very late

The new management has renewed everything. Cozy rooms and staff at the height. Excellent Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood oven but also fried fish. A little far from the center .....

Stayed here for 1 night in a Junior Suite, 1 bedroom (sea facing) while travelling from Tropea to Positano. Hotel is located on 2 sides of the main road and drove by it coming in as signage was a bit poor. Check in was ok. Staff who spoke English wore a name tag with the English flag noted on it. Room was a bit dirty on arrival and 2nd bed for my son was not set up. Room was over-looking the pool area...

We stay in modern part which is closer to the beach, rooms are ok however very small.. If you dont pay extra, you get the view to the busy steeet. Double bed for small children not the best option and there is nothing else to choose from. What is really wierd, requirement to swim in swimming caps at the outdoor pools…. Food is good, especially pasta :) Service very friendly.

The general spaces of the hotel desperately need modernization, but the "resort" part is nice after reconstruction. Avoid the village part though. Food is great, Beach and sea are great. Employees speak very little english.

The hotel is very conveniently located: close to the old town and the beach, and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The train station is a 20-minute walk away. Although the common areas of the hotel need renovation, my room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. I felt very comfortable.

The hotel is good, has great location, near the sea and city center. The breakfast was sufficient. The staff was hospital. Wi-fi was not so good in our room, sometimes the signal disappeared. The furniture and facilities are not new.

Perfect location, close to the beach and the city centre. We loved the terrace where you have breakfast. Good breakfast options (Italian style, no fried eggs, or sausages). The staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious. The hotel is quiet, but the walls are thin. If the other guests are loud climbing the stairs, you hear them.

Pleasant hostess Lorena, beautiful location. Place needs uplift in proper service ,no food was available upon arrival or beverages....you need transport up to location and down if you want lunch or dinner....breakfast is poor no eggs,no bread, just biscuits ,no juices offered....

Very good price for quality. It was an alright hotel with good service. I would say it's a "perfect 3-star hotel". We were late and we had to find a hotel. We called this hotel at around 10 PM and he still was able to help us. We arrived just before midnight. Very nice owner who speaks a bit english
