We were at Locanda al Castello last Sunday for a first time but I thing also for last. Pasta were horribly uncooked. The rest of the food ok.

The hotel looks quite old, probably not much maintenance, the rooms are OK, the hotels location could be better as this was a very nice city. The shortcomings of the hotel can probably be explained with the fact that it is the only one in the municipality, and because of the yearly event hosted there and the scenic city with a beautiful river dividing it, gets quite a number of visitors.

I have been many times in this Hotel. Practically the only hotel in the center of the town. Not a fancy luxury one but does the job for one night to stop in this lovely town. It’s in the center and has parking. Breakfast is simple and also the rooms. But good priced.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great for walking to local restaurants. The bike storage was great with lots of room for many bikes and a locking door. The breakfast was nice with a good selection. I forgot an item and the staff found another person in my party to ensure that I got it back. Extremely helpful and amazing that they would take the time to ensure I got the item

What impressed me most at hotel Roma was the staff. Breakfast was very nice and everyone was working to make it pleasant for everyone. They have a great bike storage area and are nicely located. We left a water bottle there and they wrapped it and asked some other bicyclists to bring it to our next town. That was incredibly thoughtful!

Cividale was one of our stops on the Alpe adria trail - we ended up staying two nights as the little city is so charming and domus iuli was a perfect place to stay - not only because of the location, but also the cozy rooms with attention to detail, our great host Francesca and a delicious breakfast. Happy to come back anytime!!

All members of staff were extremely welcoming and super helpful. They made us feel at home. Good quality relaxed hotel in the middle of town. Beautiful ancient building, fabulous dining room. Very comfortable allover. The rooms are a bit small but well decorated. Breakfast is nice too.

We ate at the Orsone twice and both times it has been memorable! The menus are creative, imaginative and delicious! My husband ate ‘the best dessert he has ever had’ which was a pea-based dessert. Highly recommended if you fancy some real fine dining experience and trust the chefs to put together a bold menu combining unexpected ingredients and surprise you with the outcome. Service is outstanding...

There are 2 separate part of the restaurant. The first room is like an easy going bar and fast food. Then inside room is more fine dining. The steak and burger are super! As same as the price.

Food and wine quite always very good, and the atmosphere too.. So sorry about Joe's decision of mixing up the the two parts of the restaurant: the more expensive and posh one focused on fancy plates, and the cheaper one serving more burgers and fries. But I think it's still very enjoyable.

We stayed in this agriturismo for a few days with a couple of friends and we had a wonderful time. The property is an oasis of peace. We relaxed in the pool and hot tub. The breakfast is excellent and the owners are very welcoming, helpful and attentive to every need .... highly recommended

We have just spent 10 days of vacation in this little paradise, where everything was perfect, from the apartment, spotlessly clean, spacious and well furnished, to the really abundant and quality breakfast, to the pool area where we spent many moments of pleasant relaxation. We spent a few days in Borgo Chiasalp, a structure that has been renovated with care and passion by the owner. The breakfast was excellent and full of various products. Really nice, with the slowest elevator in the world! At the entrance, coffee machine, teapot, cups, etc. Not large rooms, but equipped with everything you need. Cozy and clean. Large bathroom with remote controlled window and then WF, air conditioning, TV and minibar. Exquisite staff, but not always easily contactable.

Maximum courtesy, tasteful and refined furnishings. All new and well cared for and well blended with period details. Spring mattresses (brand new), but they are providing with lactic Topper! Great breakfast! 💯👍 Highly recommended!

The room was a little dated and furnished with not very functional furniture (there was no wardrobe). The bathroom in the room was new and well decorated. The B&B is located in the center of Cividale and has a paid parking in front. The breakfast was good.

Außergewöhnlich gemütlicher familiärer Aufenthalt. Wer Frühstück will, bekommt ein reichliches Frühstück serviert. Abends kann man im Restaurant speisen, das weit bekannt ist für seine Rindfleisch Spezialitäten( aus der Region). Es schmeckt hervorragend, sowie auch die Nudeln und Beilagen. Sehr zu empfehlen! Gilberto und sein Sohn sind sehr sympathische und angenehme Gastgeber.

The cuisine is excellent, the owners absolutely courteous, the chef Gilberto extremely competent and courteous, the dishes are remarkable. Even if Sicily is far away, we will be back again!

The large and clean rooms excellent, the grilled meat excellent and plentiful, and also the price paid is very good, and the owners are very courteous and helpful.

Very nice people there! Breakfast was good, if you want to see centro cividale you have to drive by car. Our room was very big (number 1) and clean. The bed was a dream but maybe you can use some fresheners for a good smell. I loved it here. MILLE GRAZIE!

It was just one night stay on the way to southern italy. For this purpose it is excellent- in the middle of city, parking for free on own permises, the breakfast ( really tasty and large choice of meals) is served by the owner, who is really kind. Shared bathroom and toilet is no problem as there are just 3 rooms on the floor. Really nice stay. The city itself is really worth at least one day visit

The house is very comfortable, clean and the owners super nice and is just over 1 km from the center so I would say perfect! Relaxation in the green is not lacking so I would say that I can go back! I absolutely recommend it.
