Between the stunning views, the incredible amenities (especially the hot tub with the view), and the outstanding service, I felt very comfortable every moment of my stay. What made this stay truly exceptional, was how the staff went above and beyond. They assisted in booking the church for my wedding day! This personal touch and willingness to help with such a meaningful detail meant the world to...
Lovely hotel near the lake, with a great view and great location. The rooms are very spacious and have their own independent entrance, separate from the reception and the rest of the building. The only small "issue" we had was with ants in the room, we saw some on the floor as soon as we arrived on the night and woke up with some more around our stuff in the morning (e.g. when I woke up and looked...
Good views, helpful staff and service. Breakfast also decent and well priced. Having to pay separately for parking after already paying a premium price is a bit disappointing. Mosquito nets in the room would have been helpful.
Location ; superb view on the lake with a lot of vegetation. Unfortunately the hotel is on the side of a very busy road and it is quite dangerous to leave the hotel just for a walk. Room ; clean and as described. Bed is very comfortable. I had a cigarette smell coming from the ventilation on my first night. Also sound proofing is poor. I could hear the steps of the waiter from the restaurant. Breakfast...
Nice hotel with a beautiful view. Nice food
Great location as in view of the lake. However the room I was in had the kitchen or restaurant above and until 12am I had staff walking up and down, chairs banging and all while trying to sleep... rooms are nice(ish) , wifi is bad and cell reception. There is no laundry service at the hotel. Food: breakfast was average, as one expects proper coffee in Italy and this wasn't the case here, dinner was...

My and my partner really enjoyed the room view, the breakfast and the hospitality of all people working at the Villa. The place is mainly a weeding event venue, we stayed 1-night when there was not any event at the villa, so we were the only guests and we had a very intimate experience!!!!
Great stay. Friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. We will definitely be back
Such a friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful view of the lake. Room comfortably fit my family of four. We enjoyed breakfast as well!
Wonderful area, friendly and helpful staff.
We were there last weekend. Super view from room , extremely nice staff. Paolo was very nice in changing our rooms so that we enjoy the room with terrace and enjoy the stunning view on the lake. Thank you Paolo , you are the best :) we will come back for sure.
Incredible scenery once you get to the top, the breakfast is enjoyable as is the dinner. The waiters are prompt and friendly. The rooms are modern and comfortable. However there is a quirk with the bathroom that has you hitting your knee on the sink when you squat down to do your business.

View was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of options and a beautiful view as well.
The rooms have an old style, which I do not prefer, but nonetheless everything is tidy and in order. The swimming pool looks great but isn't heated so not recommended when it isn't hot outside.
Lovely hotel with lots of what Americans expect as European style. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good, even by American continental breakfast standards. The views from the hill and balconies are spectacular. This is a great place to get out of the city, although there is also train service nearby with a hotel shuttle. We got married on the 3rd of October last, and our experience in the Grand Hotel was excellent, not only for the quality and quantity of food, which were enthusiastic about all the guests, but also for the service the day of the reception, and in the course of the preparations. Nice and clean hotel. Breakfast is good but simple. Coffee was the worse that I ever had. Nice price respect to the other hotel around.
Arrived late but couldn't get dinner as in-house restaurant won't take orders 15min before closure (10pm). Bathroom water heater can improve with stable hot water. Checkout staff very helpful to advise bus/train transportation the next morning.
Excellent breakfast, the room had loud noise from the air condition
Excellent value with friendly service, clean room and premises. A real pleasure to stay here.
Great Hotel, Great price, friendly staff. Shuttle service has been shaky due to language barrier, rooms could use a spruce up but cant argue otherwise.
The rooms are really neat, The hotel is spacious. Although the hotel is split on to two buildings, but overall it's a great hotel with spacious rooms

The Hotel is very comfortable and has an old world charm.
A beautiful hotel in fantastic surroundings near Rome Ciampino airport. It's a "classic" style hotel, staff are so sweet and extremely courteous. I would suggest anyone booking this hotel to also rent a car to enjoy the surroundings of the Castelli Romani which are very close. Rome centre is also about 30 minutes away by car so relatively close. Perfect.
Surely it must have been a spectacular place some years ago and surely those days are gone... But it generally still is a nice place to stay. The view from the room is fabulous! The area nearby is nicely arranged. The whole facility is clean and neat. The only negative impression I got was about cold rooms and the overall need of refreshing the interiors. Besides that it great!
Very attractive older hotel. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is typical European but it is delicious. The restaurant has some amazing dishes. The rooms are large. The hotel does show it's age a little, and it is best utilized with a car, however for the price point it is a great deal.

Very handy for airport. Parking is easy and good low priced and good. Clean and comfortable. Lacked hot water this morning but sure this was an exception.
Very good for a one night stop, it is only 5 minutes far from Ciampino Airport.
This once would have been good hotel but currently its struggling to live up to its former glory. The access is not directly via main road which happens to be a highway. Absence of pickup service is a bit of inconvenience. However, Room was clean and breakfast was great. Staff was extremely attentive and caring.

Stayed here for a few days while attending a wedding nearby. My wife and I had a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Plenty of good food provided at breakfast. Train station is only a short walk away.
beautiful, elegant, charming, sunny hotel, in a strategic position a stone's throw from the center where there are bars, restaurants, markets, cinemas, shops for shopping and more.... my breakfasts, aperitifs and dinners have always started from here, from this town and my place to stay is hotel flora

Nice hotel and excellent restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.
amazing view, room was clean and service very good
With its stunning view, we really enjoyed our lunch in the late afternoon. I tried quite authentic, classic menu like saltimbocca, and found out it definitely makes difference. Simple dish at a glance, but it has very complex taste, at the same time well balanced. Realized I don't need to go too far creative and staying classic is also being creative. Excellent and well organized dinner. Recommended both for the restaurant and for an aperitif with friends for an atmospheric evening in the park in the company of good but discreet music.
The first thing you should know is how they welcome you. You should taste the meat and the tiramisu. Many thanks to Mr Luca and Ms Jada who makes us fell very happy in this lovely place. The hotel room is not bad, the staffs are nice but the problem seems to exist for long time. Base on the reviews from a few years ago, there has been guests complaining about the A/C over time. I recently stayed at Hotel Villa Mercede in Frascati, and I’m so glad I chose this spot for a relaxing getaway just outside the buzz of Rome. Unbeatable price/quality ratio. Very unique manor style accomodation on the top of the hill. Nice surroundings, quite and beautiful place to stay and enjoy your well earned vacation. Close to the Ciampino airport.
This hotel looks impressive from the outside and in the common areas. The rooms are very simple and could do with some renovation (walls were dirty with big cracks, shower was moldy). Room service (cleaning) is thorough and very friendly. To me, the food was disappointing. The outdoor pool was out of service. All in all, my stay was okay but I will not be back.
Beautiful villa and grounds. Really a large Conference Centre. Are Various Conference Rooms, well laid out and catered for. History of Napolean Bonapart family ownership. Great place to stay, especially if you are driving. Tranquil setting, quiet rooms. No pool. No restaurant, but Bar will fix you up a tidbit if you request it. If WiFi is important for you, then request a room with good WiFi, not all rooms have it.

Did I mention the views? Because it's located at the top of a mountain the surrounding views are breath taking! Highly recommended!

The rooms are okay. The hotel is obviously quite old and fixtures such as the mirror in the bathroom are rusted up and gross. The shower heads were clogged and the tub was not draining properly. The mattresses were also way past their prime. The hotel does not have a lift. The location is excellent, near the bus stops and train station, and close to restaurants and a Carrefour.
Hotel Colonna, Frascati can not be faulted. The owner, JeanFranco, and Gido, the lovely breakfast organiser, enable customers to feel “welcome and at home”. We highly recommend this establishment. A wonderful place to stay. We can not thank them enough.
We stayed at the hotel for a couple nights, attending a wedding nearby. The valet parking was extremely useful and the staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are older, but charming. Only service is acceptable. Stay there only because it is close to the airport.
The people at the front desk were very nice and made an effort to communicate with me in English. Affordable price. My only problem was that they didn't have hair conditioner and I couldn't really change the AC setting (it was freezing!) but that may just be because I had never used a foreign thermostat before haha.

Old style hotel in a quiet residential are close to Frascati. One of the recommended for visitors to ENEA research center. The hotel was ok and the staff helpful, but the place needs some kind of renovation, because it really feels old inside.
