If you have a car, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, there's a kettle, and a restaurant with a rich breakfast. It's less than an hour's drive from the airport, and parking is free, making it a good choice for business travelers on a road trip. Varese town center is less than a 10-minute drive away, and there's a Chinese noodle restaurant with really good food!

Hotel is 30 minutes from the city center. No restaurants nearby. Breakfast is very industrial.

The good points: The hotel has a pool and plenty of sun loungers. There's a bar and a restaurant for the evening (the Aperol spritz and pizza are pretty good). The staff are friendly. The bad points: The breakfast buffet lacks variety (10 breakfasts with the same items). The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together (the middle of the bed can sag if the mattress moves). The soundproofing...

Nice Hotel at the boarder of Varese. We were also happy it had a aircon, as it was very hot outside.

Great sized room with separate living room. Easy parking. Ideal location for getting the bus into town. Pool was great even in October! But most of all the staff were excellent. I would definitely stay again.

Room was a great size but very tired and could do with updating. Neither the safe not the tv worked. Wasn't a problem as we were only staying for one night.

After an initial disaster at a "centrally" located hotel around Lake Como, this Hotel was a godsend. Wonderfully comfortable bed, cool A/C (heatwave at the time - our other hotel had NO A/C) and modern bathroom with powerful shower. Rooms were quiet despite hotel being quite full, and blackout blinds meant a great night sleep. We even managed to have a swim in the pool. The hotel is in a suburban setting...

We celebrated my baby's baptism at this fantastic location and were extremely satisfied with every aspect. The food was excellent, carefully prepared, and of high quality. The property is nice and modern, the room spacious and clean, and the bathroom was consistent with a four-star hotel, although some of the fixtures were slightly worn. Nice hotel, good for a short stay on your way to somewhere else. Not advisable for a stay of more than two nights. Rooms are clean but no possibilties for storage. Bathroom and amenities good, breakfast standard to good. Personnel works very hard, most of them are friendly. Pool not heated, so good to cool down. Parking perfect, just like approachability.

Aside from the good accommodations, unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about this hotel. The half-board meals are a farce, the breakfasts are token-based, and the food served by the waiter is a complete disaster. I don't eat sausages or cold cuts, so while waiting for the waiter to serve me a normal adult portion of scrambled eggs, I heard "stop, madame"... shame, shame, shame. Eggs must...

An American like hotel, with a motel concept, near the shore of Lake Varese. There’s a busy road in between. Hotel, room, breakfast and parking were allright. We did not use the wellness and pools.

A lovely spacious family room with a large terrace and view of the lake. Beautiful and clean with a great bathroom. Breakfast was very good and the spa/ pool was perfect for a relaxing few days at the end of a busy holiday. Spa staff were lovely. Several casual dining options nearby which was great as restaurant less suitable for children/ relaxed dining.

Beautifully located high above Varese in a park. Exudes the charm of a grand hotel from bygone eras. Extremely attentive staff. Lovely pool area and outdoor facilities. The interior furnishings and decor are a bit dated – which didn't bother us at all. We would definitely come back for another long weekend trip.

It’s not a 4 star hotel any more as it’s old and not much updated so it feels like from the 90s . However a very good location for restaurants and shopping and nice staff so it’s ok.

Good value for $$ but just adequate for the heart Firstly, I question the 4-stars that hang outside this Varese Hotel. In life it is often better to undersell one’s greatness and on this occasion the fact that it does not deserve its stars plagued us. We stayed overnight on a journey through Italy. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. The towels were particularly large and fluffy. Breakfast was fine and coffee was made to order not a machine. The only thing we couldn’t work out was the air con which was a bit too cold. We could have asked at reception for help...

This hotel is perfect for a couple of nights in Varese. Rooms are very clean and it is a very good value for money. Breakfast is good, and location wise it’s only a few minutes walk from downtown area. The only problem I could point is that reception is not open 24h, and you need a QR code to enter the building. So don’t lose it.

This was our second stay. We like Varese as a overnight stay to Tuscany. It is a nice lively town. The hotel is good. We stayed in a regular room on the first Floor. Breakfast is good with lots of options. Parking on site and easy access.

Really friendly staff and great location: easily accessible by car - with a private (free) parking - and yet, it is directly at the beginning of the city pedestrian center. Since our last stay a few years ago, the hotel has been nicely refurbished

Rooms are moderate, not very spacious, but enough for your needs. I dont know Italian at all. But staff was very friendly, and felt like home. Reception is very helpful and breakfast staff is very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast selection is moderate as well. Stayed here twice over a period of 1 year for 4-5 days each time.

Staff is very friendly especially the madam serving the breakfast. Room is good. Breakfast is excellent with many varieties. The chocolate cake is the best cake I ever tasted! Location of the hotel is great. The only drawback is that the Air conditioning is very weak.

Shower was quite small and I am not a big guy. Overall room was good (clean and not too hold). However, some cons: Two single beds to make one large bed come on... thats make nice middle crack. Both mattress were stiff. Chair for deskwork is so bad, hard for back and not confortable at all. WiFi was not too bad, i"ve seen worse. They had power outlet adapter at reception which comes handy since I forget...

The hotel was located on a very busy street with not much of a view, and the room was quite different from the photos but It was conveniently located close to downtown Varese. However, the breakfast was excellent, which made everything okay. The staff were very kind, and I would definitely recommend including breakfast if you stay here.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is modest but comfortable with the most amazing view which reflects the essence of the mountain. Mario was great. Ladian gave great menu and wine recommendations. We ventured to other cafes and restaurants but Albergo was most kind. Amazing experience

Awesome location with a great view over Varese and surrounding lakes, very piece full location if you want to relax! The food in the restaurant is of a very good quality, what tastes even better with a good glass of wine. The staff is with one word amazing 🙂 always friendly and willing to help you, especially Carmen is funny and always smiling!

Very nice and relaxing atmosphere on top of the Sacro Monte. The feeling you get coming up here is one of great excitement and relaxation. You can have a glass of wine, and all you can here is the wind and the crickets. On a good day from the terrace, you can see all the way to Milan, which is 70km away, and if you turn around, you can see the french alps. What a great place. But they are not happy...

It is difficult to find the destination and parking is a big problem. Friendly staff. The tower room has a great view down to the city and the lakes, but is €190 a night too much in September? The Italian breakfast was modest. The cleaning was not up to a good standard. The restaurant was the most expensive during our 10-day trip to Italy. We've been here once, we won't go here again.

Very nice hotel located in old villa. Room was nice and clean, very comfortable and spacious. Good looking garden with nice view outside. This place has free big parking space, gym, pool and wifi connection. Breakfast was good enough but without unnecessary splendor. Staff are nice and friendly.

Okay with the offer we had. We were three people staying in a room. Plenty of space, but they replaced our towels and only left two, and then seemed oddly reluctant to gives us a third towel (we had booked and paid for all three people).

Great hotel. I you're not an animal lover, don't be put off by all the dog photos on the sites. It is pet friendly but also friendly to humans! Rooms were very clean, breakfast was ok, location is good andc service was friendly.

The place is a very beautiful 1800-century style hotel. It the rooms are great, especially for families. The breakfast is also good and the pool is nice. The view is fantastic as it is located up in the mountain near the city of Varese.

Nice Hotel. Old of cause, but that is what it should be since this is a historical building. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern though still kept in old style. Only thing not so good. Since it is part of the Accor Group it should also be part of their Le Club Accor but it's not. Why don't they want to acknowledge loyal customers?

Very nice and quiet 3-star hotel on Lago Varese. Comfortable room and bed, large bathroom, nice staff. The highlight though is the restaurant, delicious food and drink. Good place to have a rest before a longhaul flight from Milano Malpensa.

What a lucky find. We needed a cost effective stay for our halfway stop on the way to our final destination, what a lucky find. The staff is super accomodating the rooms are clean and have the basic amenities, but what was best is the included breakfast. The Cappuccino is amazing, the Cornetti to die for. Would absolutely recommend!

Needed a room for the night with my family and found this hotel online. We showed up in the evening and was greeted by a lovely staff who quickly helped us check in on our room. Throughout our visit all the staff was very helpful and always available. The location was great and the breakfast was delicious and local. No complaints!

Very comfortable hotel with great management and staff. They helped us out with umbrellas when it rained and, more importantly we’re so honest and helpful when we left our credit card in the room and checked out. The hotel is next to a railway but the trains go slow passed the building and don’t run through the night. Alberto and the team will take care of you completely..

Very close to restaurants and city centre. Hotel is cheap and has very old standard on rooms, but is clean and the staff is very helpful. If you just need a place to sleep, and are not picky on luxury, you can spend your money on food in the city, and sleep well here.

A quiet, cheap, minimal hotel. You get what you pay for. The room was clean, there was a bathroom with a shower, there were towels and toiletries. The breakfast was a normal minimalist breakfast of coffee and pastries. I felt we had good value for our money.
