Good location for skiing in and out, we returned here after an excellent holiday two years ago. We were told that the chef had changed, as a result we found the vegetarian food option less attractive than before.

The owner of the hotel couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. She truely made our stay special. Food was wholesome and plentiful. Beautiful location. Short walk away from local restaurants, cafes and shops and surrounded by stunning scenery. Would 100% recommend.

The accommodation was generous in size, the multi directional shower was amazing as was the view from our balcony and the staff were lovely as was the owner. I really could not fault this place.

Absolutely top ski hotel just a few minutes bus ride from the main ski lifts and the ski bus stops right outside! The staff were unbelievably friendly and really looked after us during our stay. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because the rooms were pretty basic but it served our needs well

A nice budget friendly hotel. Food was ok, always three course dinners with the addition of a great and varied salad bar. Breakfast was fine but could of done with some hot options. Rooms were very basic but clean and warm. Was a good base for a days skiing as the lifts were only a few minutes away on the free bus service.

Search out the sauna and hammam in the basement...

It is walking distance from campo smith valley (a bit of a long walk if you're carrying the skis but still good). The staff was helpful and extremely nice, facilities are great and very close to the train station.

Right at the bottom of the lift in a popular bar that shuts down in the early evening leaving everything very quiet. Comfortable bed. Whilst we were there it was very quiet but could easily hear people next door. Great hot tub and sauna for apres ski recovery!

We stopped for lunch after a mountain bike ride. The location is very convenient because it is a stone's throw from the parking lots and in front of the bike park lifts. We ate well with good portions and at an acceptable price. Veal with tuna sauce and guinea fowl salad are good. Polente is not bad. They also have a good choice for children and are willing to help in order to please everyone. Good

Warm-hearted family owned hotel in the picturesque village of Bardonecchia. Man in charge Bruno takes excellent care of his guests - with a great sense of humour. Dinner is served by the charming daughter Claudia and cooked with local ingredients by son Marco. Excellent spot to de-connect!

The hotel is situated at the very top of Bardonecchia opposite the Rho creek. They have interesting facilities for mountain bikers such as a dedicated garage and washing facilities. The personnel is OK. The meals could be improved. Location is clean.

I booked this accommodation as a bolt-hole for a week's skiing and was not disappointed given the price. The hotel is in desperate need of some love and attention but does have a certain charm. Breakfast is a fairly simple affair though there's sufficient to set you up for a morning on the slopes.

A very warm greeting from the new management, extremely helpful, polite and informative. Check-in was very smooth. Hotel itself has a slightly faded old world charm, was warm and comfortable with a good bed, so I got a great night’s sleep.

Staff and management are nice. But the bed is not OK and the room floors are bad and noisy when you walk. And 3 towel set, 2 bar soap and 2 plastic cups only in toilet. Breakfast and food OK.

A recent motorcycle accident in Bardonecchia left me with a broken arm. I was staying at the Sommeiller Hotel. Hector and his team could not have been kinder than they were, lifts to hospital and return to the hotel after an overnight stay. They went well beyond the parameters of hotel hospitality and I would like to thank them all very very much. And I will be back again next year.
