A truly Aweful stay, if management spent money on renovations and cleaning it could be okay. Upon arrival at 10:15pm we were charged a €25 late check in fee, for a hotel at 10:15???? The front door was secured with a chain and lock at night. The first room we were offered had black mould behind the bedside lockers(found it because I was looking for a plug), blood or a brown stain on the wall, a carpet with many dark marks of dirty on it. I immediately requested something else, we were given a new room, which was less unacceptable though it had a similar stained carpet, a foul smell from the drains(we had to buy a bathroom fragrance and leave window open-in January!) the old springs in the beds made quite a racket. Our children were in the room above us, they had no stains on the carpet but a parquet wooden floor which creaked with the slightest touch-we could tell when they were awake. Breakfast(the reason I booked🙈): the breakfast cappuccino in the bar was good for the first two midweek days, the food accompanying it was not pleasant, semi stale apricot croissants and stale breakfast cereal. Unfortunately breakfast moved to the “restaurant”🤣 at the weekend, the coffee machine was disgusting and appeared to have not been cleaned, white floating debris in your coffee is not a good sign! The remainder of the food was the same as midweek-bad! Go self catering it will be better (anything will be better!!) The rolled cigarette butt stayed on the fire alarm switch during our stay, no cleaning and suggests a dangerous disregard to guests safety. AVOID this place.

disgusting room there were cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling there was a wierd mildew smell all the time and its difficult to sit on the toilet because of the shower so my legs have to be in the shower and there was dust EVERYWHERE which definitely made my throught very irrated

The infrastructure might not be the newest, but really you have everything you need. Plus, a shout-out to the choices for breakfast: they thought about people with intollerances, which they rarely do. There were 3 options of plant-based milk and that was wonderful. Thank you! And the staff is nice and helpful.

i had got food poisoning and there was bedbugs. all dead bugs on the floor very dirty and the chicken was pink, doors are really hard to open

Stone cold. No heating and no prospect of any. Property feels like it's on the edge of bankruptcy. Most of the bulbs have been removed. Towels provided every 3 days! You can't dry wet clothing or wet anything in a room the same temperature as a fridge. Dining area might have been good in 1960. Reception looks like your granny's front room - old worn out and noticeably warmer as the office staff clearly have heating for themselves. Top tip is run the shower so it warms up the bathroom with it's broken shower enclosure and it's 1960 suite. Windows don't fit so as it's 5c outside it's 5c inside too. Frankly do not stay here. I noticed construction workers booking in and one of the came back down and asked for blankets.

Everything was amazing,the room was quite a good size and clean with an amazing mountain view and very quiet at night also Great heating in the room and quite nice bathrooms. Room well lit and the bed was very comfortable. We could see quite a bit of christmas lights still hanging up outside from our room which made it look like a magical snowy christmas village The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. I even asked if i could find any panini shop that was open in the afternoon near by and they offered to make it themselves even tho the kitchen was closed at that time. They even keept our luggage for us even tho we had already checked out of the hotel ( as we wanted to visit a couple more places before we went back to Turin). they even explained to us what navetta to take depending on where we wanted to visit .Staff over all very nice and really friendly. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was super nice and delicious. The set menu was only 20 euros per person and it was VERY VERY filling ( you can request smaller portions too ). The buffet was also very nicely made and a lot to choose from. The breakfast had a vast variety, from cereals,fresh fruit, yoghourts,cheeses and hams,breads eggs etc...they even told us to inform them if we needed anything else made for us that was not there and the food was very fresh. Dining area was very nice and clean. Over all this hotel is very nice and welcoming i would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit bardonecchia. The train is roughly 2 minutes away and shops very close by. If i ever visit again i would defiantly choose this hotel over any other! They truly make you feel at home when you're far away from home!

A very warm greeting from the new management, extremely helpful, polite and informative. Check-in was very smooth. Hotel itself has a slightly faded old world charm, was warm and comfortable with a good bed, so I got a great night’s sleep.

Terrible and ridiculous overpriced. Outdated, below basic facilities and horrible smell of smoke in communal areas as staff keeps smoking inside.
